We are going to Halifax and we want you to join us! This 8-day tour is your most exciting itinerary between Toronto and the Maritimes. We promise you won't be disappointed by this awesome experience! We will take you on a great adventure starting from Ontario, passing through Quebec and New Brunswick, all the way to Nova Scotia — or, as we like to call it, Canada's ocean playground! Come visit the iconic Peggy's Cove lighthouse and Alexander Keith's Brewery, the oldest brewery in Canada (with samples, of course!)! Get muddy digging for clams in Digby, take a cruise in the Thousand Islands, visit the picturesque port of Lunenburg, and take stunning sunset photos at Rivière-du-Loup. You couldn't have more fun on this tour, even if you tried! HIGHLIGHTS: Tour and tasting at Keith's Brewery in Halifax Dig for clams and cook them on the beach for a wonderful feast. Take a boat cruise in the Thousand Islands in Ontario to admire the scenery.   • day 1

    From Toronto to Montreal

    Meet your guide and fellow travelers in Toronto and travel along the St. Lawrence Seaway to Montreal, the city of festivals and the largest French-speaking city outside Europe. On the way, you will stop for a beautiful cruise in the Thousand Islands. Tonight, you will explore the vibrant nightlife of this wonderful city. (Thousand Islands boat cruise included).

    Montreal

    Take advantage of some free time to explore the picturesque city of Montreal, including Mount Royal, the old town, shops, cathedrals, as well as cafés and bars. Bring your French dictionary to practice your language skills!

  • day 3

    From Montreal to Rivière-du-Loup

    Your journey east will continue as you cross the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River to your overnight destination, Rivière-du-Loup. Your route will take you along spectacular views through small French-speaking towns, founded by Basque fishermen from France more than 350 years ago. The Saint Lawrence changes from fresh water to salt water in this region, so watch out for seals and other marine animals! A group dinner at the inn is planned for the evening, followed by free time in the evening.

    From Rivière-du-Loup to Moncton

    You will go from Quebec to New Brunswick, the only officially bilingual province in Canada, so that you can continue to practice your French! It is the homeland of the Acadians, a warm and friendly people, who have a proud history and a rich culture. You will see the longest covered bridge in the world.

  • day 5

    From Moncton to Digby

    You will leave for the famous Bay of Fundy, passing through the Annapolis Valley. You will spend the night in the special town of Digby, a beautiful East Coast town you will never forget. Group dinner at the inn with Digby's famous scallops!

  • day 6

    Digby

    You will spend the day exploring this spectacular region, including clam digging on the beach (voted best activity!) and visiting the amazing Digby Neck. You will spend another peaceful evening in this fishing town on the east coast.

  • day 7

    From Digby to Halifax

    Today, your visit will take you to Halifax, the capital of Nova Scotia. Along the way, you will visit Peggy's Cove, one of the most beautiful and picturesque villages in the East, as well as Lunenburg, which is home to the famous Bluenose II schooner, known worldwide. You will spend the night in the lively city of Halifax.

    Halifax

    Enjoy plenty of free time to explore Halifax on foot. There is a lot to see and do in this maritime city! Later in the afternoon, you will visit the famous Alexander Keith's Brewery, the oldest brewery in Canada. Then, you will have a group dinner in a local pub (Keith's Brewery included).
