Amman city tour – desert castlesAfter breakfast, we drive to the east of Amman, where the "Desert Castles" (or Qasr) are located. These are the remains of the former residences of the Umayyad caliphs from the early period of Arab-Islamic civilization (late 7th to early 8th century). The magnificent examples of early Islamic art and architecture bear witness to a fascinating era in the rich history of the country. They served as rest stops for caravans, as agricultural and trade centers, as hunting pavilions, or as outposts that allowed the rulers to establish relationships with the local Bedouins. Late Antiquity and Roman ArchitectureBreakfast at the hotel. Departure for a visit to Jerash or Gerasa, today undoubtedly one of the best-preserved Roman cities in the Middle East, the city of 1000 columns. After Petra, Jerash is the second major destination in Jordan. You set off to visit the Roman city of Um Qais or "Gadara." It is beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the Jordan Valley and the Sea of Galilee. As the site of the famous miracle of the Gadarene swine, Gadara was known in its time as a cultural center. It was home to many classical poets and philosophers, including Theodorus, who founded a school of rhetoric in Rome. A poet once called it "a new Athens." Meals included: Breakfast Overnight in Amman

The holy sites and along the King's Highway, Grand Canyon and Crusader castle.After breakfast, you will drive to Madaba, also known as the "City of Mosaics." Today, Madaba is especially famous for its wonderful Byzantine mosaic map from the 6th century AD, which depicts the entire Holy Land with Jerusalem at its center as well as numerous scenes from the Old and New Testament. Next, the journey continues to Mount Nebo. This is said to be the place from which Moses viewed the "Promised Land." The impressive figure of this fortified city and the castle immediately makes you understand why, over thousands of years, the fates of kings and nations were decided here. The old Crusader fortress of Karak lies 900 m above sea level and is located within the walls of the old city. Today, around 170,000 people live in the city, and it features numerous restored Ottoman buildings from the 19th century. However, the castle of Karak is undoubtedly the dominant attraction. On foot through the rock city of PetraAfter breakfast, you will embark on an intensive day hike through the rock city of Petra and get to know the fascinating culture of the Nabataeans. Petra truly reveals itself to travelers only when hiking; because only on foot can you reach the remote temples and places of sacrifice. There you will have a view of the Treasury, the street, the facades, the Royal Tombs, the Cardo, temples, churches, museums, the monastery, and the altar. Through the Valley of the MoonIn the morning, the journey continues into the desert landscape of Wadi Rum. Narrow rock needles, spectacular rock bridges, and brightly red granite mountains rise from the desert sand, giving the so-called "Valley of the Moon" a distinctive appearance. Weightless in the Dead SeaAfter breakfast, you will drive to the Dead Sea for relaxation. The high salt content makes the Dead Sea a natural source of health and beauty and allows you to float on the surface while bathing. Enjoy a whole day.
