Classic 8-day safari in Kenya - Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park - Nairobi - Parc national du lac Nakuru

You will take the car early in the morning and head to Lake Nakuru National Park, where you will arrive at Flamingo Hills Camp at noon. Arrival and lunch. In the afternoon, you will depart for a safari. Lake Nakuru National Park was created to protect the large population of pink flamingos. Along the shores, Thomson’s gazelles, Bohor reedbucks and zebras roam the grasslands. Lake Nakuru is home to black rhinos and white rhinos. In 1987, only two black rhinos remained due to the devastating effects of poaching. By creating a protected area for rhinos within the park and carrying out cross-breeding with a breeder from Laikipia, the Kenya Wildlife Service (K.W.S.) succeeded in increasing the number of rhinos in the park. Wildlife viewing is relatively easy and will be possible until sunset. Buffaloes, leopards, lions, Rothschild’s giraffes and colobus monkeys can be seen in the forest. Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill Camp

Classic 8-day safari in Kenya - Lake Nakuru National Park - Maasai Mara - Photo of the day

You will continue the safari to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, so named because it means “spotted plains” in the Maa language. This is where the greatest concentration of large mammals is found, and it is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension of the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual wildebeest migration. Transfer to the lodge with a driver and, after check-in, a hot lunch. Later in the evening, enjoy a 4x4 safari in this spectacular place, with breathtaking landscapes, endless plains and the greatest variety of wildlife still present in the world. The landscape consists of rolling savannas, dotted with shrubs and bushes. All meals and overnight stay at Ilkeliani camp

  • day 4

    Maasai Mara

Classic 8-day safari in Kenya - Maasai Mara - Maasai Mara

During your stay, you will have the opportunity to explore this vast reserve in depth. You will be able to see elephants, giraffes, lions, thousands of impalas, topis, hartebeests, and Thomson's gazelle. Birds are prolific, including migratory species: 450 bird species have been recorded, including 57 birds of prey. The Mara is the stage for the annual migration of millions of wildebeest coming up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grass. During your stay in the Mara, you will have the opportunity to float above the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem in a hot air balloon, followed by a gourmet champagne breakfast. You can also visit a Maasai tribal village and enjoy the entertainment of Maasai dancers (optional with extra charge). All meals and overnight stay at Ilkeliani camp.

After breakfast and check-in, you will go to Lake Naivasha, which is the first of the Rift Valley lakes and is located at the foot of Mount Longonot, on the north side. It was on Lake Naivasha that the first air passengers in East Africa used to land with Imperial Airways by hovercraft. After lunch at the camp, take a boat ride in the afternoon to identify the many different birds in this area. Lake Naivasha - Amboseli National Park

Early in the morning, drive to Amboseli National Park. The park is famous for its abundant wildlife and the beauty of its landscapes, dominated by Mount Kilimanjaro. It offers an interesting contrast with its dry and dusty appearance, attributable to the volcanic ash emitted by Mount Kilimanjaro during its last eruption. Despite this appearance, the water supply is continuous, filtered through volcanic rocks from the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. These waterways flow underground, create green areas and converge toward two clear water springs in the park. Dinner and overnight at Kilima Safari Camp:

    Amboseli National Park

Visitors come mainly to observe the immense herds of elephants. Male elephants have some of the largest tusks in all of Kenya. Visitors can also enjoy excellent views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. All meals and the overnight stay at Kibo Safari Camp
