• day 1

  NAIROBI - ABERDARE NATIONAL PARK

  08:00 am, departure from the hotel / airport and drive to Aberdare Country Club where you will have lunch at 12:30 pm. Later in the afternoon, transfer to The Ark Lodge. Aberdare National Park features a varied topography including glacial rivers, spectacular waterfalls, and rainforests. The flora and fauna are quite unique and cannot be found elsewhere in the country, except on Mount Kenya. Leopard, elephant, serval, waterbuck, reedbuck, dik-dik, rhinoceros, and the rare bongo can all be found here. You are sure to see elephants, buffaloes, and other animals at the illuminated waterholes of The Ark. Dinner and overnight at The Ark Lodge.

• day 2

  ABERDARES - LAKE NAKURU

  08:00 am, departure for Lake Nakuru National Park, arrival in time for lunch at the Flamingo Hill luxury tented camp. After lunch, enjoy a free afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

• day 3

  LAKE LEADER - YOU NEED THE NATIONAL RESERVE

  After breakfast, at 7 a.m., departure for the camp and crossing of the great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch. On the way, we will have a distant view of Mount Longonot, Mount Margaret, and Mount Suswa. After lunch, continue on the road until dusk. The Masai Mara National Reserve is the most beautiful nature reserve in Kenya. Everything in this reserve is remarkable. The wildlife and flora are abundant, and the gentle, rolling grasslands ensure that the animals are never out of sight. The birds are also prolific. Counting the migrants, more than 450 species have been recorded, among which are 57 species of birds of prey. The climate is mild, rarely too hot, and rainfall is well distributed throughout the year. The rain, when it falls, almost always chooses the end of the afternoon or the night. Between July and October, when the great wildebeest migration is in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, the feeling is unparalleled. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

• day 4

  MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE

  06:30 am - Early morning departure in the Mara. Later, return to the lodge for breakfast. Rest of the morning at leisure. (On this day, you also have the option to take a hot air balloon ride at an additional cost, with departure from the lodge at 05:00 am.) 16:00 - After lunch at the lodge, continue with an afternoon safari until dusk. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

• day 5

  MASAI MARA - NAIROBI

  Breakfast at the lodge, then at 08:00, departure towards Nairobi. Expected arrival around 13:00 with drop-off at your hotel or at the airport.
