Trip Description

The Collioure-Cadaqués hike allows you to discover the most beautiful parts of the Côte Vermeille: guided tours of Collioure, Banyuls, Port de la Selva, and Cadaqués, not to mention the great painters such as Dali and Matisse. Set off to discover the Côte Vermeille, between Collioure and Cadaqués, along the Fauvism trails, where the famous painters Matisse, Derain, and the illustrious Dali left their mark. Along the Mediterranean shores dotted with wild coves, on paths overlooking the sea, our itinerary starts from the charming little port of Collioure, where artist-painters were drawn by its shimmering colors. Then, it is through the wine-growing lands of Banyuls that our steps will lead us, before tasting its famous wine. Next comes the arrival in Spain, with its sunshine and warm atmosphere, its coastal paths between white houses and flower-filled gardens, its wild coves and large sandy bays... and the descent to Cadaqués, a white village nestled in the cove of a beautiful bay. Along the age-old paths scented with garrigue, past rocks sculpted by the winds, we will then go to discover Cap de Creus, the last stronghold of the Pyrenees sinking into the deep waters... Magnificent Cadaqués will then open its doors for us to discover the work of the great master Dali. Hotels with undeniable charm and the tasting of Catalan gastronomy will complete this stay and help you appreciate even more this discovery of the Côte Vermeille.
