day 1
Amman - Welcome to Jordan
Arrival in Amman at the airport to obtain the entry visa. Welcome by your driver at the airport (Queen Alia). Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Amman.
day 2
Amman, Mount Nebo, Madaba and Petra
After breakfast, early departure for the visit of Amman, formerly called Philadelphia, one of the cities of the Decapolis. You will discover the citadel, the grand theater, as well as its popular and residential districts. The citadel offers a beautiful panoramic view over a large part of the capital. Then, head to Mount Nebo for a visit to the sanctuary, the presumed site of Moses' death and burial place. Continue to Madaba to discover this city with its many churches, all decorated with mosaics, the most famous of which is the Map of the Holy Land, or map of Palestine, dating from the 6th century and located in the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint George. Continue south to the rose-red city of Petra and check in at the hotel. Overnight in Petra.
day 3
Petra
After breakfast, Day dedicated to the moving rose-red city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site since the 80s. A city entirely carved into the rock: Petra, the "Rose City", a unique place built nearly 2000 years ago by the Nabataeans. You will cross the magnificent Siq, the famous narrow passage between two mountains, and you will enjoy its magical monuments: the Treasury, the theater, the stairs, the palaces, the temples carved into the mountain, the royal tombs, as well as the many tombs and funerary halls still dug into the rock. (Possibility to eat in a restaurant on the site during the visit.) At the end of the afternoon, return to the hotel for the night.
day 4
Wadi Rum - Dead Sea
After breakfast, drive to Wadi Rum for two hours of 4x4 in a local jeep, then head to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, 420 meters below sea level. Let yourself be carried away by the unique sensation of floating on water 10 times saltier than ordinary seawater. Overnight at the Dead Sea resort (hotel).
day 5
Dead Sea (free day)
After breakfast, enjoy a free day to float on the waters of the Dead Sea. You will have the opportunity to benefit from a spa or a relaxing massage with therapeutic virtues, as well as to admire an extraordinary landscape, among the most impressive in the world. Check-in at the Dead Sea hotel for the night.

Back
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for departure.
