  Upon your arrival at the airport, you are warmly welcomed by a French-speaking guide who takes you to your accommodation. Depending on your flight time, you can begin your discoveries with some of the must-sees in the city center. Start with the Jongmyo Royal Shrine (a UNESCO World Heritage site), a peaceful place of worship dedicated to the ancestors of the Joseon dynasty. This site, imbued with spirituality, offers a beautiful glimpse of traditional Confucian architecture. Then, stroll along Cheonggyecheon, a river redeveloped into a green promenade in the heart of the city. Between small waterfalls, footbridges, and art installations, this soothing space offers a refreshing break in the midst of urban bustle. At the end of the day, head to Ikseon-dong, a trendy neighborhood nestled in a labyrinth of hanoks (traditional houses). Designer cafés, artisan shops, retro stalls: an intimate and trendy atmosphere that immediately immerses you in the Korean art of living.

  Seoul - Royal traditions and neighborhood life in Seoul

  

  Dive into Korean royal history by starting your day with a visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace, a jewel of the Joseon era and the largest of the five grand palaces in the capital. Don’t miss the changing of the guard, a colorful ceremony that enlivens the morning in the main courtyard. A stone’s throw from the palace, the National Folk Museum invites you to travel back in time through the daily life of Koreans of the past. Traditional costumes, everyday objects, and immersive displays will help you better understand the country’s cultural roots. Continue with a stop at the Blue House (Cheongwadae), the former presidential residence now open to the public. Nestled at the foot of the mountains, this elegant building combines traditional architecture and political symbolism. A guided tour reveals the behind-the-scenes of South Korea’s contemporary history. In the afternoon, stroll through the charming Bukchon neighborhood, famous for its alleys lined with preserved hanoks (old houses). This village, nestled between two royal palaces, offers superb panoramas of the city, with crafts, artists’ workshops, and breathtaking views. Finally, end the day in Insadong, a lively district blending art galleries, craft shops, and teahouses. Take the time to explore Ssamziegil, a shopping center with spiral architecture where Korean creativity and tradition come alive.

  Gyeongju - A historical jewel of the Silla era

  

  This morning, head southeast of the country by comfortable long-distance bus to reach Gyeongju, the former capital of the Silla kingdom. Upon arrival, settle into a traditional hanok for a complete immersion in the atmosphere of yesteryear. On foot, set out to explore the historic park of Gyeongju, a true open-air museum that preserves many relics from over a thousand years of history. Start with the tumuli in the city center, these large hill-shaped tombs, including the famous Cheonmachong, or "Heavenly Horse Tomb," discovered in 1973. Inside, you can see funerary treasures found during the excavations. Continue with the Cheomseongdae, the oldest observatory in Asia, a testament to the scientific advances of the time. Nearby, discover the remains of the royal palace and the old royal refrigerator, used to preserve food during the hottest days. In the afternoon, stroll through an old neighborhood lined with hanoks, small stalls, and craft souvenir shops. In the evening, don't miss a visit to Donggung Palace and its Anapji Pond, beautifully renovated and illuminated at nightfall. To end the day, make a detour to Woljeonggyo Bridge, whose shimmering reflection in the water creates a magical atmosphere.

  Today, set out to discover the two spiritual jewels of Gyeongju, both listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Take a taxi or bus to reach the wooded foothills of the mountain where Bulguksa Temple stands, one of the most iconic temples in Korea. Built during the Silla Kingdom, this major Buddhist site captivates with its ancient pagodas, monumental staircases, and harmonious courtyards. Take the time to stroll through the site's peaceful gardens, a true haven of serenity. After your visit, continue your ascent towards the Seokguram Grotto, a hermitage nestled on the mountainside. There you will discover a majestic seated Buddha statue, surrounded by finely carved reliefs depicting Buddhist deities. A masterpiece of spirituality and artistic precision, offering a breathtaking view of the East Sea on clear days. Then head back down to the city to visit the Gyeongju National Museum, which houses an impressive collection of archaeological remains from the Silla period: gold objects, sculptures, ancient bells...   Busan – Between traditions and shores

  

  This morning, head towards Busan, a large port city in the south of the country, with a relaxed and dynamic atmosphere. After a local bus ride, settle in for two nights at your accommodation located in Haeundae, the most famous beach in Korea. Start your discoveries with one of the most photogenic places in the city: the Haedong Yonggungsa temple, perched on the cliffs by the sea. This rare site, where spirituality meets the sound of the waves, offers a spectacular panorama. Then head down to Haeundae Beach, a long stretch of golden sand lined with cafés, restaurants, and modern towers. While walking along the beach, make a stop at the Busan Aquarium, one of the largest in the country, for a fun and refreshing break. Next, set out to explore the Dongbaek peninsula, a true green haven located at the end of the beach. At the end of the day, finish in style with a ride on the small coastal train of the Haeundae Blue Line Park. This scenic journey will offer you a breathtaking view of the sea at sunset.

  Busan – Art, markets and seascapes

  

  For your second day in Busan, set out to discover the cultural and local heart of the city. Start the morning in the lively BIFF Square district, birthplace of the Busan International Film Festival. Between historic cinemas, street food stalls, and handprints of Korean stars, the atmosphere is both festive and cinephile. A few steps away, dive into the hustle and bustle of Gukje Market, one of the largest traditional markets in the city. Here you will find a wide range of handicrafts, souvenirs, clothing, and local specialties. Then climb up to Busan Tower to enjoy a 360° panorama of the city, its port, and the marine horizon. At lunchtime, head to Jagalchi Fish Market, a true culinary institution in South Korea. In the afternoon, change the mood with a walk in Gamcheon Culture Village, nicknamed the "village of colors." This once modest neighborhood has transformed into an open-air gallery, with its colorful alleys, mural artworks, and labyrinthine staircases. For nature lovers, extend the experience to Taejongdae, a spectacular coastal park located at the southern tip of the city. Here you will discover cliffs plunging into the ocean, wooded trails, and a lighthouse offering a magnificent view of the sea.   Take a morning flight to reach Jeju, South Korea's iconic volcanic island. Upon arrival, head to Seogwipo, in the south of the island, accessible by taxi or bus. This charming coastal city, surrounded by unspoiled landscapes, promises you a first day of relaxation and natural discoveries. Start your exploration with Jeongbang Waterfall, one of the most famous on the island and the only one in Asia to fall directly into the sea. Continue to the traditional Seogwipo market, the vibrant heart of the city. Stroll among the stalls of fresh produce, local specialties, and Korean snacks to enjoy on the go. Then, take Lee Jung Seob Art Street, dedicated to the famous Korean painter. This pleasant walk, lined with galleries and small shops, will lead you to the boarding site for the Seogwipo submarine, for a unique underwater adventure off the coast. End the day with a break at Saeseom Park, a peaceful islet connected to the city by an elegant sailboat-shaped pedestrian bridge, which has become one of Seogwipo's symbols. Before returning, don't miss Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, surrounded by lush vegetation and particularly photogenic at dusk.

  Jeju Island – Between volcanic cliffs and peaceful sanctuaries in Jungmun

  

  For your second day on Jeju Island, start the morning at Cheonjeyeon Waterfall, nestled in a dense and lush forest. This site consists of several tiers of waterfalls and the Nymphs' Pool, a crystalline basin surrounded by legends. The whole place exudes a mystical atmosphere that invites contemplation. At lunchtime, make a stop at the Jeju International Convention Center. The afternoon is dedicated to culture and art, with several options to deepen your discovery of the country. You can visit the Leeum Samsung Museum of Art, a place with bold architecture that brings together traditional Korean art and contemporary creations by local and international artists. For a historical immersion, the War Memorial of Korea will allow you to better understand the conflict that marked the peninsula. Finally, for a more comprehensive approach, the National Museum of Korea offers a vast panorama of Korean history. A gentle return to the capital, between art, memory, and contemplation.

  Seoul – Overview and elegance of the royal gardens

  

  Start the day with a climb to Namsan Tower, perched on the hill of the same name in the heart of Seoul. Accessible on foot or by cable car, this iconic site offers an exceptional panoramic view of the capital. From the observation platform, let yourself be amazed by the striking contrast between nature, tradition, and modernity, and capture the moment with some memorable shots. In the afternoon, head to Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site.   For your last day in Seoul, get a new perspective by starting with the Lotte Tower, one of the tallest skyscrapers in Asia. From its observatory located more than 500 meters above sea level, you will enjoy a spectacular panorama over the entire capital and its surroundings. Take the time to explore the different levels of the building, which house a high-end shopping mall, restaurants... Continue your urban immersion by heading to the COEX Mall, a vast complex located in the dynamic Gangnam district. This shopping center, both a shopping venue and a cultural space, offers a varied selection ranging from major fashion brands to designer bookstores, not to mention a multitude of restaurants with local and international flavors. After lunch, head to Gangnam subway station, the heart of Seoul's trendiest district. The station's underground gallery is full of clothing stores, accessories, and lifestyle items. On the surface, stroll through the lively streets, among trendy shops, elegant cafes, and designer boutiques. In the evening, end your trip in style at Banpo Bridge, famous for its illuminated rainbow fountain show, projected from the bridge directly above the Han River.
