    This morning, head southeast of the country by comfortable long-distance bus to reach Gyeongju, the former capital of the Silla kingdom. Upon arrival, settle into a traditional hanok for a complete immersion in the atmosphere of yesteryear. On foot, set out to explore the historic park of Gyeongju, a true open-air museum that preserves many relics from over a thousand years of history. Start with the tumuli in the city center, these large hill-shaped tombs, including the famous Cheonmachong, or "Heavenly Horse Tomb," discovered in 1973. Inside, you can see funerary treasures found during the excavations. Continue with the Cheomseongdae, the oldest observatory in Asia, a testament to the scientific advances of the time. Nearby, discover the remains of the royal palace and the old royal refrigerator, used to preserve food during the hottest days. In the afternoon, stroll through an old neighborhood lined with hanoks, small stalls, and craft souvenir shops. After a local bus ride, settle in for two nights at your accommodation located in Haeundae, the most famous beach in Korea. Start your discoveries with one of the most photogenic places in the city: the Haedong Yonggungsa temple, perched on the cliffs by the sea. This rare site, where spirituality meets the sound of the waves, offers a spectacular panorama. Then head down to Haeundae Beach, a long stretch of golden sand lined with cafés, restaurants, and modern towers. While walking along the beach, make a stop at the Busan Aquarium, one of the largest in the country, for a fun and refreshing break.
