Arrival in Kathmandu
After passing through immigration at Tribhuwan International Airport and collecting your baggage, you can find our airport representative waiting for you outside the airport. You will be taken to the vehicle that has been sent for you, which will take you to your hotel in Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival time, you might have time to discover the surrounding area or visit some of the heritage sites nearby.
day 2
Visit of Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swambhunath and Patan
After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel and we shall head to Kathmandu Durbar Square. We shall visit the temple of the living goddess – Kumari, as well as many other temples and monuments that form a cluster in this area. After this, we shall head to the monkey temple, which is situated on a hilltop, and you can have a bird's-eye view of the city of Kathmandu from here. Then we drive to Patan, which is another part of the Kathmandu Valley, famous for its arts. You can find numerous idol shops and craftsmen here in small alleys, going about their crafts.
day 3
Drive to Pokhara
The 2nd largest city of Nepal, Pokhara, lies at the foothills of the mighty Annapurna and is around 200 km from Kathmandu. After driving for about 6 hours, we will reach our destination, where we will check in and freshen up. In the evening, we can walk around Phewa Lake to enjoy the sunset.
day 4
Sarangkot – Peace Stupa
Early in the morning, we drive to Sarangkot so that we don’t miss the sunrise over the Annapurna chain. After this, we will head back to our hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, we will go to the Peace Stupa.
day 5
Drive to Chitwan
South of Pokhara is the jungle of Chitwan. The road trip takes around 5 hours. Upon arrival, we will be met by the hotel staff and briefed about our program. It is possible to go canoeing, take a jeep safari, go on a jungle walk, and choose from many other activities.
day 6
Activities in the Jungle
Jeep safari in the jungle or a canoeing trip on a wooden boat. Some sites to visit today include the Elephant Sanctuary or the Crocodile Sanctuary. In the afternoon, we can either go cycling in the village or bird watching, according to your interest.
day 7
Fly to Kathmandu. Visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath.
Today, we catch our flight back to Kathmandu, which lasts around 30 minutes. Then we drive to Bhaktapur, the most well-preserved Durbar Square. Here, we will visit Durbar Square, the five-storey temple of Nyatapola, and the alleys that have a unique vibe. After this, we visit Pashupatinath, the most important Hindu temple in Nepal. Also known as the "Varanasi of Nepal," we can see the temple of Lord Shiva from across the Bagmati River and observe how cremation takes place according to Hindu rituals. To end our tour, we will head to Boudhanath, a stupa with an ambiance of its own. As we circle the stupa, you can see many merchants selling various souvenirs and Tibetan crafts. Then we will check into our hotel in Kathmandu and leave for some souvenir shopping.
day 9
Final Departure
Today will be filled with good memories. You will be taken to the airport by our transfer. The check-in counter opens around 3 hours before your flight time. Wishing you a good flight back home and hoping to see you again.
