• day 1

  From Arusha, Tarangire National Park

  First of all, our professional guide will pick you up at your hotel or at Arusha airport and drive you to your hotel in a 4x4 vehicle. During the journey to your hotel, you will discover the difference between the natural scents of Tanzania. We will go directly to Tarangire National Park. Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge

• day 2

  From Tarangire to Lake Natron

  After an early breakfast or a lunch box, drive to Lake Natron. What makes Lake Natron so special? - There is little rain at Lake Natron. There is less rain because Lake Natron is located in a desert. Lake Natron receives 400 mm of rain per year. - It contains large amounts of salt, soda, and magnesite. - The water can sometimes turn red. - There are enough flamingos around the lake that it is easy to visit Ol Doinyo Lengai, "the mountain of God." Ol Doinyo Lengai dominates Lake Natron and its countless water birds. Accommodation: Lake Natron Halisi Camp

• day 3

  Lake Natron, north of the Serengeti

  Breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast, departure for the northern part of Serengeti National Park to witness the wildebeest migration. You will enjoy a fantastic picnic lunch en route to Serengeti National Park. The wildebeest migration in the Wogakuria region generally takes place from August to October, depending on rainfall. In addition, Serengeti National Park is crossed by a long stretch of the Mara River, which is the most difficult obstacle to cross during the migration. Watching the herds of wildebeest cross the Mara River is incredible. But when the rains stop and the land dries up, the migratory herds move clockwise towards the Maasai Mara region, passing through the western Corrido and Grummet rivers. Once the short rains arrive, the herds move to the northernmost parts of the Serengeti, near the Mara River and the Lami strip. About 1,500 wildebeest have migrated to the Mara River.   North, center of the Serengeti

  After breakfast at the Lobo Wildlife Lodge, we will begin our journey with a picnic lunch on the way to central Serengeti. On the way, we will go on a safari in Seronera (central Serengeti). This is a full-day safari! The Lobo area and the Grumeti River allow for year-round animal viewing. Non-migratory animals such as elephants, buffaloes, gazelles, zebras, lions, leopards, and cheetahs are present throughout the year. In addition, game viewing is excellent, and you can watch for hours without seeing other vehicles: it is truly one of the forgotten corners of the Serengeti plains. Above all, you will find beautiful riverside trees along the rivers and many bird species. Along the rivers, you can observe bird species such as kingfishers and fish eagles.   From the central Serengeti to the Ngorongoro National Park

  Your journey will start early in the morning. We can have breakfast at the lodge and begin our new adventure to the famous Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is known as the eighth wonder of the world! The Big Five animals – lion, leopard, elephant, black rhinoceros, and African buffalo – are truly impressive. In the Ngorongoro Crater, a national park, it is possible to see the Big Five animals. Accommodation: Marera Valley Lodge

• day 6

  From Karatu to Arusha via Lake Manyara

  After an early breakfast and a packed lunch, you head towards Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy a fantastic picnic lunch en route to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park? The mystery remains as to whether the inhabitants of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro spend as much time in the trees. The acacia forests south of the Msasa River offer lions an ideal place to shelter from the sun. The lions, who are the only ones of their kind in the world, make their home in the old mahoganies and elegant acacias during the rainy season and are a well-known, but also rare, feature of the north of the park.
