  Arrival in Delhi

  

  You will be welcomed upon your arrival at New Delhi International Airport. Then, transfer to the hotel. (The organization of this day will depend on your arrival time.)

• day 2

  Delhi - Mandawa

  

  Breakfast at the hotel. Then, departure for Mandawa, a region renowned for its magnificent havelis, houses adorned with exquisite wall frescoes. Arrival in Mandawa, check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 3

  Mandawa - Jaipur

  

  Explore the havelis, magnificent ancient merchant mansions. Free lunch. Then, continue your journey to Jaipur, nicknamed the Pink City and also the capital of Rajasthan, due to the traditional pink color of its buildings. Arrival in Jaipur, check-in at the hotel. Enjoy an evening with a Bollywood movie show. Overnight in Jaipur.

  Jaipur

  

  Start the day by visiting the fort, which you can reach on foot or by jeep. On the way, you may come across the region's famous painted elephants. Then visit the palace, famous for its mirror-adorned rooms, as well as the former harem, a real labyrinth! After that, explore Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, by visiting the City Palace, the famous Palace of Winds (Hawa Mahal), as well as the Birla Temple to attend daily Hindu prayers and religious chants.   Jaipur - Suroth

  

  Continue your journey by heading to Suroth, a charming fortified village located off the usual tourist routes. It is a typical stronghold of the countryside, surrounded by red sandstone ramparts, founded more than 800 years ago by Raja Baldev Singh. The current ruling family claims descent from the royal family of Jaipur. Experience an unforgettable adventure by immersing yourself in this typical village of the Rajasthan countryside and staying in the Rajah's palace! Upon your arrival at the hotel, you will receive a traditional welcome. After lunch, take a camel cart ride and stroll through this old typical village of Rajasthan, where you can discover various local craft shops. Then, return to the hotel by passing through the local market (Haat Bazar) and attend an Indian cooking demonstration. Overnight at the hotel.

  Suroth - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra

  

  Depart for Agra with a stop to explore Fatehpur Sikri, former imperial capital, as if frozen in time. Free lunch, then continue on the road to Agra, located in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight in Agra.

  Agra

  

  Visit the Taj Mahal, an iconic monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife. It is certainly one of the jewels of Indo-Persian art and one of the wonders of the world, listed as a World Heritage site. After a free lunch, explore the Red Fort, which served as the residence of the Mughal emperors. This fort stands on the banks of the Yamuna and is surrounded by walls 20 to 33 meters high, with a circumference of 2500 meters. Overnight in Agra.

  Agra - Delhi

  

  Departure for Delhi after breakfast. Take a short tour of the Indian capital, passing through Old Delhi with the Red Fort, the Lahore Gate, and the main shopping street, Chandni Chowk. Then, discover New Delhi with Connaught Place, India Gate, a 42-meter-high triumphal arch, and the Parliament. Lunch at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

  Delhi - Amritsar

  

  Transfer to the station to take the Shatabdi Express train to Amritsar (13:35 - 21:40, times given for information only). Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 10

  Amritsar

  

  Take a tour of the city and visit the Darbar Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple, which houses the Amrit Sarovar. Also explore the Jallianwala Bagh, a memorial dedicated to the massacre that took place in 1919 under British colonial rule. Lunch at leisure. Enjoy some free time, then attend a religious ceremony in the evening at the Golden Temple of the Guru Granth Sahib, the sacred book of the Sikhs. In the late afternoon, attend the changing of the guard ceremony at the Indo-Pakistani border (Wagah border). Overnight at the hotel.

  Amritsar - Delhi

  

  Early morning return to Delhi by train (5:00 - 11:15, times given for reference). Visit of the city of Delhi.

• day 12

  Delhi - Departure

  

  Transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule.
