  Arrival in Houston

  Welcome to Texas. Pick up your vehicle at the airport and take your first steps in the largest city in the southern United States.

• day 2

  HOUSTON / SAN ANTONIO

  The city of San Antonio is located in the south-central part of Texas. The second largest city in Texas is nicknamed the "Little Venice of Texas" for its canals crossing the city. Discover the region's military heritage as well as its modern art museums.

• day 3

  SAN ANTONIO

  It is renowned for its walks along the rivers. Near San Antonio is the Alamo Fort, a tomb symbolizing Texan independence and an unmissable landmark of the region. San Antonio was a Mexican city in 1835 and, after the siege of the Alamo Fort in 1836, it was taken back by the independent Republic of Texas, before it became part of the United States. The city is therefore rich in Hispanic culture. Stroll along the River Walk in the downtown area and walk around the Missions Historical Park.

  SAN ANTONIO / DEL RIO

  Del Rio is on the banks of the Rio Grande. It is a typical West Texas town with 35,000 inhabitants. You can stop there to fish or hunt.

  DEL RIO / BIG BEND

  Take advantage of this day to discover Canyon State Park and the Pecos Canyon, then finish with Langtry.

• day 6

  BIG BEND

  Big Bend is a park where the wilderness is preserved and where you can contemplate breathtaking desert landscapes.

• day 7

  BIG BEND / ODESSA

  Visit an old American army fort, as well as the Annie Riggs Museum in Fort Stockton, then go admire the second largest meteorite crater in the United States in Odessa.

  ODESSA / ABILENE

  Departure to Abilene, a city where art and traditions intertwine. Discover the charming preserved village of Buffalo Gap, or head to the Chaparral Gallery in Midland to admire Jim Hall's legendary race cars.

  ABILENE / DALLAS

  On the way to Dallas, you can make a stop at Fort Worth to visit the Stockyards National Historic District and immerse yourself in cowboy culture.

  DALLAS

  Famous city in Texas, Dallas is one of the most vibrant metropolises in the country. Cowboy hats and boots, oil and TV series, artistic neighborhoods and trendy districts: this megacity will amaze you with its multitude of art museums, its parks, and its history. Visit dynamic multicultural neighborhoods, where galleries and cafés are multiplying.

  DALLAS / AUSTIN

  On the way to the capital of the State of Texas! Austin is the largest student city in the country. Experience the party spirit of the city.

• day 12

  AUSTIN / HOUSTON

  Departure to Houston, the fourth largest city in the United States. Visit the Museum of Fine Arts or the NASA Johnson Space Center to discover the Apollo mission control room.

• day 13

  HOUSTON / FRANCE

  Return of your vehicle at the airport.
