Dar es Salaam | Mikumi National Park

Pick up from your place of stay in Dar es Salaam in the morning and drive to Mikumi National Park with a packed lunch. Enjoy game viewing in the park; animals commonly found include lion, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, and elephant. Mikumi National Park | Iringa Town
After a delicious breakfast, drive to Iringa Town via the Ismila Stone Age Site. This seasonal watercourse has yielded one of the richest collections of Stone Age tools known anywhere in the world. Even if you don’t find archaeology particularly alluring, Ismila is still well worth a visit to see the scenic gully, which contains a number of sandstone pillars carved out by an extinct river. Drive to Ruaha National


After a delicious breakfast, depart to Ruaha National Park for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game viewing drive in the park, which is known to be one of the most natural, unspoiled, and largest parks in Africa. Dinner and overnight will be at the Old Msembe Bandas. day 4
Game Drive in Ruaha National Park


Breakfast followed by a full day of game viewing in the park. The exciting Great Ruaha River features large numbers of hippos and crocodiles, and attracts lions, leopards, hunting dogs, and other species such as waterbuck, impala, giraffe, warthog, eland, zebra, and elephants. Grant's gazelle, ostrich, and cheetah may be seen on the plains. Dinner and overnight will be at the Old Msembe Bandas. Meals Plan: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
day 5
Transfer to Udzungwa Mountains National Park


An early morning wake-up for a cup of coffee, then off for a sunrise game viewing drive. Return to the Bandas for breakfast, and drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park, with a stop for lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight will be at Twiga Resort. Meal Plan: Breakfast | Lunch | Dinner
day 6
Hike to Sanje Waterfalls | Back to Dar es Salaam


After breakfast, start trekking along the spectacular trail up to Sanje Waterfalls. From here, you will have a view of Kilombero Valley, 180m below. Once at Sanje, there will be time to explore the forest and waterfalls, and even go for a swim in one of the plunge pools. Descend and transfer to Morogoro Town to board the train departing at 19:25 to Dar es Salaam. Arrive at 21:15, meet with our staff, and transfer to the hotel of your choice or the airport.
