Hanoi - City DiscoveryIn the morning, after your breakfast, you leave to visit the Bat Trang ceramic village, an ancient village founded in the 15th century. It is located on the banks of the Red River and is renowned for the quality and beauty of its ceramic productions: decorative objects, everyday items, or even religious pieces... You have the opportunity to observe the artisans' working methods, which have been passed down through several generations, and to buy beautiful ceramic pieces as souvenirs. You will take part in creating your own piece with the assistance of an artisan and leave with this piece! Local lunch. In the afternoon, you will also visit Hanoi's cultural sites such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his stilt house, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Then, visit the Temple of Literature in Hanoi, a symbol of Vietnamese feudal education and living proof of the Vietnamese people's eagerness to study. Next, we take a short walk to visit the Ngoc Son Temple "Jade Mountain," located on the edge of the Lake of the Restored Sword, an opportunity to admire the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake at dusk. Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Tho Ha Village and Galaxy CaveAfter breakfast, transfer to Ninh Binh to experience the village of Tho Ha, in the Nho Quan district. It is a spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks nestled in valleys, some of which are submerged, and surrounded by vertical cliffs. Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, enjoy a short drive to the village of Tho Ha, in the Nho Quan district, for a bike ride of 5 to 15 km (depending on your preference), passing through sleepy villages and picturesque countryside landscapes. Next, head to the hamlet of Dong Tam to take part in fun farming activities such as crab catching, fishing, transplanting and watering plants, etc. After about an hour, return to the hamlet for a cooking class and lunch with a local family, where you will learn to prepare some local delicacies like sweet potato cake and grilled fish. After lunch, continue riding to the Nha Le pier and enjoy a rowing boat ride to Galaxy Cave. The cave appears with a winding line under thousands of sparkling stalactites of different shapes that suddenly emerge just above the curve of the cave ceiling. Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu Temples - Tam CocAfter breakfast, departure for the Trang An complex in Ninh Binh province. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2014, Trang An is famous for its spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks, whose steep vertical walls rise abruptly 200 meters above the surrounding land and water. A dense tropical forest covers the landscape, clinging even to the cliffs and summits, naturally blending with rice fields and rivers, creating a picturesque patchwork of colors. Inside the complex, visit the ancient capital of Vietnam, Hoa Lu, the country's first centralized feudal state since the end of the 10th century. While the ancient citadel has largely disappeared, the temples of the Dinh and Le dynasties are still surrounded by rice fields. Local lunch. Continue to Tam Coc, known as the "Halong Bay on land," where a skilled rower will take you on a slow 2-hour journey along the river and winding canals. Enjoy the view of the magnificent karst formations as you enter three of the many natural caves formed under the hills. Finally, visit the Thai Vi temple. Ninh Binh - Halong BayYour 2 days 1 night cruise trip begins with pick-up at your hotel. After 4 hours of driving, it is time to check in to one of the most beautiful cruises on Halong Bay. The cruise manager and crew will welcome you with drinks and a brief program for your trip, then you will enjoy a delicious lunch while your boat takes you further towards Bai Tu Long Bay. After lunch, you will visit Thien Canh Son cave, go kayaking or relax on a beach. Dinner will be served around 7:00 pm, and after dinner, it will be your time to relax. Ha Long Bay - Hanoi - Flight to HueThe second day of your trip begins early with tea or coffee. At 07:00, breakfast will be served on board. After breakfast, you will continue your cruise around the bay, then visit the Vung Vieng fishing village as well as other activities (depending on your cruise). After that, you will return to the boat, check out of your cabin at 10:00, and have a delicious lunch. Disembarkation at Hon Gai port around 11:30-11:45. Hue - Royal Tomb - Imperial City - Kite Flying CourseAfter breakfast, we first visit the imperial mausoleum of Tu Duc, a sumptuous tomb surrounded by frangipani and pine trees, built according to plans drawn up by the emperor himself. On the way back, you will have the chance to discover the craft district specializing in the making of incense sticks. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we visit the imperial city, the only example of an imperial city in Vietnam still existing today. Despite the passage of time, it retains all the beauty of its original Viet-Chinese architecture. Finally, we offer you a kite-making class. There, you can discover the technique of making a kite, take part in the different steps, and then fly your creation. Dinner on your own and overnight in Hue. Hue - Cloud Pass - Hoi AnBreakfast at the hotel. Drive to Hoi An along the charming Hai Van Pass, which at its summit offers a superb panorama of the Central coastline. You will stop at Lang Co beach, one of the most beautiful peninsulas in Vietnam, where you can take stunning photos of the fishing village. Arrival in Hoi An around noon, lunch in a good local restaurant. A walking tour will allow you to visit the streets of the old quarter. You will see: Chua Ong Pagoda, the Assembly Hall, the Tan Ky house, 200 years old, Chinese merchant houses, and the Japanese covered bridge. The Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, built in 1690, is a must-see site. The pagoda it houses is dedicated to Thien Hau Thanh Mau, goddess of the sea and protector of sailors. Dinner at your leisure. Hoi An - Tra Que Village by bike - Lantern classWelcome by the guide at your hotel, then bike ride. You will travel from village to village, through vast rice fields along winding and peaceful paths, heading towards the Tra Que vegetable growers' village. More than 200 owners and 500 farmers live on site and cultivate about 20 types of vegetables and herbs, including mint, lettuce, basil, coriander, broccoli, among others, on more than 50 hectares of land. Ten tons of vegetables are sold each year. The farmers use neither pesticides nor GMOs, but natural fertilizers, and in particular a type of algae found only in the canals and the river, harvested by the farmers themselves by boat every morning. Stroll through the village, in contact with local residents working in the gardens. You will learn all about the history of the village, the method of growing vegetables, the use of medicinal plants, Vietnamese pharmacopoeia, and participate in gardening activities such as fertilizing the land with river algae alongside the farmers. Relax with a medicinal herb foot massage, a traditional therapeutic practice, then prepare lunch with a local family: crispy pancakes, Hoi An spring rolls, tam huu, grilled fish in banana leaf... You will taste the dishes you have prepared. After relaxing in the shade of a mango tree, return to Hoi An by bike. Hoi An - Danang - Flight to SaigonBreakfast, then you leave for Danang airport to take the domestic flight to Saigon. Arrival in Saigon, check-in at the hotel. After lunch, you stroll among the colonial remains, witnesses of the nearly century-long French presence in this part of the world. Discover the city of Saigon through charming colonial buildings: Notre-Dame Cathedral, the HO CHI MINH post office, the municipal theater (viewed from the outside). Next, discover the Chinese city of Cho Lon with its Binh Tay market and the Thien Hau pagoda, which is dedicated to the worship of the Goddess of the Sea. Saigon - Ben Tre - Can ThoBreakfast then departure for your excursion in the Mekong Delta. Upon arrival at Hàm Luông pier, cruise on the Ben Tre river while exploring the lively activities along the river, such as fishing, water transfer, etc. You will see brick making in a traditional style, done by molding and firing. Visit one of the many coconut processing workshops located along the canal. Take the natural streams by rowboat, where they seem to get smaller and smaller, to reach the village. Stroll through a family workshop making sleeping mats and taste fruits and tea. By cart (xe lôi) or by bicycle on shaded paths, pass through green rice fields and vegetable plains to discover the real life and tropical culture of the peasants. Lunch at Hai Ho. In the afternoon, ride a sampan along the canal, before returning by boat to the Hàm Luông pier. Finally, departure to Can Tho. Check in at your hotel. Dinner on your own and overnight in Can Tho. Can Tho - Cai Rang Floating Market - Sai GonWaking up early (around 6am) to the sounds of the Mekong River, you will take a boat excursion to reach the Cai Rang floating market. The Cai Rang market is located not far from the city of Can Tho. On a branch of the Mekong, at sunrise, you can see hundreds of boats equipped with a long bamboo pole at the end of which is stuck a pineapple, a tomato, a dragon fruit... This is what the delta farmers sell. Each one has come up the river on their sampan loaded with a pyramid of fruits or vegetables, then visit to a rice noodle factory. Disembarkation at Ninh Kieu quay. By vehicle to visit the Munir Ansay pagoda with the specific architecture of the Southern Khmers. Then the Binh Thuy ancient house – very well known thanks to the film “The Lover” by Marguerite Duras, then return to Sai Gon. Dinner on your own. Overnight at your hotel.
