Yerevan: Matenadaran – Geghard – HyeLandz Eco VillageMeeting with the guide at the hotel reception at 9 am. Morning walk in Yerevan, one of the oldest cities in the world. Discovery of the famous Matenadaran, which preserves thousands of ancient manuscripts with timeless charm. Later, departure for the Kotayk region. Discovery of the 13th-century rock-hewn monastery of Geghard. In the late afternoon, arrival at HyeLandz Eco Village. The well-appointed rooms, the lovely gardens with fruit trees, the domestic animals, and the surrounding nature will ensure you absolute relaxation.

HyeLandz Eco Village – Garni – Symphony of Organs – HyeLandz Eco VillageAfter breakfast, which we will enjoy in a family atmosphere, direction Garni, an impressive site with its 1st-century pagan temple. Walk in the gorge with its superb basalt organ pipes. Later, return to the eco-village. Free time to enjoy as you wish. A wide variety of games, such as chess, cards, dominoes, pétanque, badminton, basketball, table tennis, and other activities will be offered to you. Possibility of hiking in the surroundings while enjoying juicy fruits. Relaxing evening and dinner around the fire.

HyeLandz Eco Village – Khor Virap – Areni – Noravank – HerherThe day will be dedicated to discovering Armenian traditional cuisine and dances. In the first part of the day, we will get to know the south of Armenia, which awaits us with its fertile valleys and magnificent landscapes. First discovery: the Khor Virap Monastery. Next, wine tasting with a winemaking family in Areni, the "Armenian Bordeaux." The itinerary continues towards the Noravank Monastery (13th c.), one of Armenia's architectural marvels, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. At the end of the day, we will arrive in Herher, a lovely and very welcoming Armenian village, with its own traditions and daily concerns. You will come to appreciate it during your short stay in the village.

HerherNo alarm clock, it’s the fresh air and the silence of the village that will wake you up today. Eat healthy from the morning: organic eggs, cheese, honey, etc. Later, a walk in the village, gardening, baking bread, preparing cakes and other delicious dishes. Escape the everyday for a few hours and discover the joy of cooking with the local villagers.
day 6
Herher – Selim Caravanserai – Sevanavank – DilidjanAfter breakfast, pursuit of the road towards the picturesque region of Lake Sevan, "the blue pearl of Armenia". On the way, discovery of the Selim caravanserai. Next, we will head towards the Sevan peninsula to discover Sevanavank with its two churches perched on its hill. Lunch on site. Later, direction to the town of Dilijan, "the Armenian Switzerland". The dense forests and unspoiled landscapes surround the town like a natural rampart. Here, you will be welcomed by another host family to experience a new authentic encounter with the local inhabitants.

Dilidjan – Haghartsin – Gochavank – DilidjanExploratory tour of the old town of Dilidjan. Departure to the Haghartsin Monastery, lost in forests with shimmering colors. Return to the main road to reach the village of Goch. Visit to the Gochavank Monastery: an exceptional discovery of medieval Armenian architecture and its famous khachkar called "lace". Free evening.

Dilidjan – Pambak village – OdzunContinuation of the journey to the picturesque Lori region, a true natural paradise, calm and attractive. In the village of Pambak, you will discover Armenia in all its aspects. The region offers many opportunities to get to know the local customs and culture. Here, you will learn how to prepare national dishes, admire the art of Armenian dance, its crafts, and many other things. Later, we will arrive in Odzoun. Accommodation with a host family.
day 9
Odzun – Sanahin – Haghpat – YerevanAfter a hearty breakfast, we will set off to discover the surrounding region. Visit to the 4th-century Odzoun basilica. Continue on the road to the monastic complexes of Haghpat and Sanahin, listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. In the evening, return to Yerevan. Free evening.
day 10
Yerevan – Zvartnots – Etchmiadzin – Aknashen – YerevanRoute to the Armavir region. Visit the ruins of the round Cathedral of Zvartnots from the 7th century, a masterpiece of Armenian architecture from the early Middle Ages. In Etchmiadzin, you will be impressed by its cathedral (301-303), the "Armenian Vatican," seat of the Catholicos. Then, departure for the village of Aknashen. The local host family will once again invite you to the Armenian table. Warm and joyful atmosphere guaranteed! You will have the opportunity to participate in the preparation of "lavash," the traditional Armenian bread, and to taste national specialties that will delight your taste buds.
