TASHKENT - URGENCH - KHIVA (1.5 h flight)Morning transfer to the local Tashkent airport. Picnic breakfast. In the morning, domestic flight Tashkent - Urgench (INCLUDED). Arrival in Urgench and transfer to Khiva (Urgench - Khiva 30 km). After dropping off the luggage at the hotel, we begin our journey through the ancient Khiva of the Thousand and One Nights, an integral part of ancient Khorezm, the homeland of algebra. KHIVA - BUKHARA. TRAVEL BY CLASSIC TRAIN, BY CAR OR BY COACH.After breakfast, travel to Bukhara by medium-speed Shark series train (Classic Trains) or by coach, depending on the train schedule. Arrival in Bukhara (city of Kogon) and transfer to the ancient city of Holy and Noble Bukhara. Bukhara is also the homeland of Avicenna (Ibn Sina), known as one of the greatest figures in medicine in the world. We leave our luggage at the hotel and begin our visit of the historic city. Attention, on the Khiva-Bukhara railway, due to the installation of electricity, we do not yet have exact information on the train schedules. For this reason, the train journey may be replaced by a car or coach. The train fees are generally spent on car or coach transfer services! BUKHARA-GIJDUVAN-NURATA-YANGIKAZGAN-YURTA 290 km.We end our short journey to the holy city of Bukhara, once recognized as the capital of Islam, with a morning visit to a historical monument outside the city. SITORAI MOKHI KHOSA PALACE (19th-20th century) is a palace-garden belonging to the 3rd generation of the Mangit dynasty of the Emirate of Bukhara. This summer palace of the emirs of Bukhara will transport you into the world of oriental fairy tales with its variety of colors. Moreover, this palace is very rich in interesting exhibitions. On the way, we will visit the pottery workshop of Guijdouvan, one of the most famous pottery schools in Uzbekistan and Central Asia. Here, we will be able to see how beautiful handicrafts, beautiful pottery, and embroideries are made. Next, we will head towards the Great Silk Road, an endless desert without which it is impossible to imagine. Then, we will go to Nurata, one of the ancient cities, where we will discover the remains of the ancient fortress of Nur (also called the fortress of Alexander), the walls of the defensive rampart (4th-3rd century BC), the Chilustun mosque (9th-20th century). We will be able to visit the great domed mosque (16th century) and taste the water from the mysterious spring of Nurata. LUNCH - Today, we will have lunch in a real local Uzbek house! In the afternoon, we will continue our journey and visit the largest lake in the country, Aydarkul, which looks like a mirage in the seemingly endless Kyzylkum desert. It is also possible to enjoy this beauty and swim there (in summer, of course). We arrive at the end of the day at the family camp in the desert, located in the Kyzyl Kum desert, the largest desert in Central Asia. These tourist camps tell us about the life and past of the ancient nomadic tribes. A calm, peaceful, and quiet camel ride in the desert is a great pleasure for any tourist. In addition, you will have the opportunity to witness magnificent sunsets and sunrises. DINNER - In the yurt with the team, why not sit around a campfire, listen to the magical and enchanting music of the nomads, and dance together?

YURTA - THE NURATA RANGE - rural life, hikingThe Nurata range is one of the most attractive destinations for ecotourism in Uzbekistan. It is located on the border of the Kyzyl-kum desert, near Lake Aydarkul and far from densely populated lands. It is a place for hiking, walking, and horseback riding. You will be surprised by the warm welcome and hospitality of the local people, who speak Uzbek and Tajik. You can relax in a green garden near a mountain stream, in the shade of an old walnut or mulberry tree, admire the magnificent landscapes, and discover the lifestyle and folklore of the inhabitants of the region. In this unique region, you have the opportunity to discover amazing wildlife, petroglyphs, and ancient ruins. You can take a trip to the mountain lake Fazilman and many other things. You can choose the length and difficulty of the route according to your preferences, and you will get to know the unique flora and fauna of the region. In the Nurata mountains, you will have the chance to see the endemic wild sheep, the Severtzov argali. In the Kyzylkum, you can observe a desert monitor, the largest lizard in Central Asia. The whole region is ideal for birdwatching. The most frequently observed birds are the griffon, the bearded vulture, the golden eagle, and the paradise flycatcher.
