ANTIGUA - PANAJACHELBreakfast Antigua was founded at the beginning of the 16th century. The charm of this colonial city, which lays out its streets in a grid according to Renaissance principles and was the former capital of Guatemala, has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. Visit to the Santa Clara convent, founded in 1699, largely destroyed by earthquakes. The cathedral dominates the Plaza de Armas, surrounded by the former Government buildings: the Palace of the Captains General, built in 1549, and the City Hall. The San Francisco church, where Brother Pedro de Bethancourt, a revered figure among the Franciscans, is buried. Visit to the magnificent Santo Domingo convent, restored as a luxury hotel, and its 5 museums, including the beautiful colonial museum. Visit to the church and convent of La Merced. PANAJACHEL - SAN JUAN LA LAGUNA - PANAJACHELBreakfast Of all the natural wonders in Guatemala, the volcanic setting of Lake Atitlán is probably the most beautiful. Boat crossing of Lake Atitlán to visit the village of San Juan La Laguna: land of the Zutuhil Indians, a very authentic village where women wear a huipil and a red belt, a black skirt with white stripes, and men wear white pants as well as a black and white shirt. Panajachel - Chichicastenango - GuatemalaBreakfast Departure to Chichicastenango. This small village was long the hiding place of one of Guatemala's greatest treasures, the Popol Vuh, the bible of the Quiché Indians. Visit to the church of Santo Tomás, where you can observe the syncretism of the Catholic religion and Mayan ceremonies. GUATEMALA - FLORES - YAXHA - FLORESBox breakfast Transfer to Guatemala airport and flight to Flores. Departure to the magnificent Mayan site of Yaxha, built on the edge of the lagoon of the same name. The 2nd most important site in Guatemala is located in the heart of the tropical jungle and was recently declared a National Park. This site was the most important ceremonial center in the region. It consists of a complex of twin pyramids and several acropolises. In the afternoon, return to Flores. Arrival and check-in at the hotel.

FLORES - TIKAL - FLORESBreakfast Then departure to Tikal National Park, the only site in the world to be considered both a Cultural and Natural World Heritage site. Arrival at the "Kingdom of Voices" where great lords such as Ah-Cacao made this city one of the pillars of Maya history. In the shade of the virgin forest, a walk in the footsteps of this mysterious civilization, discovering a pyramid, a stela, or even a palace. Discovery of the Main Plaza, watched over by the majestic Temples (I and II) of the Great Jaguar and the Masks. Continue along trails through the jungle to climb Temple IV, from where you can contemplate more than 2000 years of Maya history. In the afternoon, return to Flores. Accommodation

FLORES - RIO DULCE - LIVINGSTONBreakfast Continuation towards the Atlantic coast. Boat excursion on the magnificent Rio Dulce river. Panoramic visit of the fort located at the mouth of the great Lake Izabal. The conquistadors often fought against pirates to protect their territory and built a defensive fort at this location. Continuation to Livingston, this village of black "Garifuna" population, where the flavor and warmth of the Caribbean are discovered in the dance, music, and regional food. LIVINGSTON - RIO DULCE - QUIRIGUA - ANTIGUABreakfast Boat trip to reach Rio Dulce. On the way, visit to the archaeological site of Quirigua, where the largest stelae of the Mayan world and Mesoamerica are erected. Continue the journey to Antigua Guatemala. Arrival and check-in at the hotel.

ANTIGUABreakfast Departure to the village of San Miguel Escobar for a one and a half hour walk through fields of corn, beans, coffee trees, avocado trees, with a magnificent view of the volcanoes, villages, and the city of Antigua. Meeting with small farmers and participation in the coffee harvest. Continuation at the home of a family of small coffee growers for the selection of coffee, the processing of cherry coffee into coffee, and finally, to taste a cup of coffee. Return to Antigua.
