While the island of Martinique offers magnificent white sand beaches and paradisiacal spots, it also has an incredibly rich and varied plant life.     Arrival in Martinique and charming hotel in Le François

    Arrivée en Martinique et Hôtel de charme au François

    Arrival at Fort-de-France airport, you will pick up your rental car and head to your charming hotel in Le François, the Plein Soleil***. You will then take possession of your "Guest" room, ideal for a couple seeking peace and beauty. The first 4 nights of your stay will be spent in this accommodation with half-board (dinner), leaving your days free to discover the beauties of the island.

    Southern beaches of the island and Habitation Clément

    We start gently but surely on this first day! You will take advantage of the morning to discover the most beautiful beaches in the south of Martinique: Les Salines beach, Pointe Faula, Pointe Marin, Diamant beach, Anse Macabou, or even Anse Trabaud… At midday, you will easily find something to eat and taste the local specialties. During the afternoon, you will head to Habitation Clément, a magnificent Creole house full of history. A true rum museum that will make you an expert on the subject! You will be able to enjoy a tasting at the end of the visit.

    Catamaran day

    You will depart from the Marina du François and embark towards the coral reef on a magnificent sailing catamaran. Drinks will be served to you during the crossing, then, upon your arrival in the shallows, you will be treated to a rum tasting. An aperitif with your feet in the water, in the Caribbean Sea, will be followed by a tasting of accras. Swimming stops are of course planned, notably at Joséphine's bathtub, sumptuous sandy shoals located in the reefs. For lunch, you will be dropped off on an islet, in a jovial and musical atmosphere. Before your return, you will enjoy a small traditional Martinican snack. A must-do day in Martinique!

    Scuba diving baptism and hiking at the Caravelle

    This morning will be ideal for your first scuba diving experience, if you have never done it before! A moment of pause in the depths of Martinique. In addition to discovering a rich fauna and sparkling aquatic flora, you will enjoy the benefits of diving: peace and relaxation. After lunch, you will head to the Caravelle peninsula for a hike. It stretches for 12 km, jutting into the ocean, and is characterized by its greenery, rocks, and viewpoints over the bay. A unique natural setting in the south of Martinique.

    Departure for Saint-Pierre and the Falaise gorges.

    This morning you will head to Saint-Pierre to drop off your luggage in the north of Martinique, in Saint-Pierre. You will spend 4 nights in this accommodation, with breakfast included. After settling in, you can go for a swim at Anse Couleuvre, one of the most beautiful beaches in the north. For lunch, don't hesitate to step into the restaurant "Habitation Céron." The place is exceptional and the dishes are very well prepared! In the afternoon, you have the option to discover the Gorges de la Falaise with a guide, to explore the Falaise river, a gem of the north of the island, surrounded by lush nature and a waterfall of rare beauty.

    Ascent of Mount Pelée

    Ascension de la Montagne Pelée

    After a sweet and beautiful night, you will head early in the morning to Mount Pelée, where you will be accompanied by a guide to climb it without delay. Nature is beautiful, silent, and soothing. The guide will provide you with details about this volcano that was at the heart of the dramatic fate of the town of Saint-Pierre! Once at the summit, in clear weather, the view is breathtaking.

    Balata Garden and Zoological Park

    In the morning of this 7th day, you will go to discover the Jardin Balata, a botanical garden that is home to a great many plant species. At the end of the visit, it offers a walk in the canopy. As close as possible to the treetops, a moment of relaxation is guaranteed. Then, you can have lunch at the Garden, at the restaurant La Luciole. It offers delicious accras, fresh fish tartares, tatakis… Afterwards, you will head towards the Zoological Park in Carbet. Respectful of its environment and especially of its species, it works for the preservation of biodiversity in Martinique.
