Trip Description

Andalusia is one of the 17 autonomous regions of Spain, and it is the largest. It has a homogeneity throughout its territory in terms of climate, that is to say, a Mediterranean climate: very hot and dry in summer, mild and dry in winter. It is also the region of Spain with the greatest number of days of sunshine per year. Moreover, this region is known for the hospitality of its inhabitants as well as for the Andalusian way of life, marked by typical gastronomy, festivities, and joy of living. Geographically, Andalusia faces the Mediterranean to the east, which separates it from Morocco, and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. The Andalusian coastline has a total of 900 km of beaches that delight tourists every year. As for the landscape of this region, it can be said to be totally diverse: within two hours, it is possible to access high mountains, pass through the Tabernas desert, and reach the Guadalquivir valley. Regarding its history, Andalusia is a land that has experienced different waves of conquest. The first was that of the Germanic invasions of the Vandals, then later the Visigoths, then successively by the Romans and the Arabs. Andalusia, under the Muslims, thus becomes Al-Andalus, which is the political and cultural center of the Muslim state in Spain. Cordoba, being the Caliphate, becomes the first cultural and economic center of the world at that time. To advance their conquest, the Almoravids and Almohads established the center of their power respectively in Granada and Seville. It is this mythical and fascinating territory that we invite you to discover.
