• day 1

  Arrival in Bogota

  Upon your arrival at El Dorado International Airport, you will be greeted by your driver and guide, who will take you to your hotel located in Bogotá. You can take this opportunity to rest after this long flight.

• day 2

  Visit of Bogota

  

  You will start the day with an iconic visit to the historic district of Bogotá, La Candelaria. You will be completely charmed by the colorful streets, colonial architecture, and highly developed street art culture. You can also take the opportunity to discover the renowned Gold Museum, a testament to the wealth and traditions of the past. Bogotá is also known for its gastronomy, blending local products with tropical flavors. At the Paloquemao market, you will discover an exceptional variety of fruits and vegetables. You will have dinner in one of the city's most highly rated restaurants.

  Discovery of Salento

  

  Today, you will head towards the coffee region, Salento. There, you will discover an authentic and lively village, and you can take a walk along the Royal Street and the Artisan Street. It will be an opportunity to do some shopping and buy yourself some souvenirs. At the very end of the street, you can admire the famous Alto de la Cruz viewpoint, an incredible vantage point over the village. You will end the day with an unmissable visit to a coffee plantation and a delicious tasting.

  The Cocora Valley

  

  Located a few kilometers from Salento, you will embark on an exceptional discovery of the Cocora Valley. This lush and unique valley is an opportunity to go hiking and thus admire the tallest palm trees in the world.

• day 5

  Discovery of Medellín

  After a good local breakfast, you will head towards Medellín, the country's second largest city after Bogotá. The city stands out for its modern side and its dynamism.

• day 6

  Visit of Medellin

  

  Accompanied by your local guide, you will discover all the hidden secrets of the city of Medellin. You will pass by Botero Square and its many surrounding sculptures. A true open-air museum!

• day 7

  Exploration of the village of Guatapé

  

  Today, you will have the privilege of exploring the charming village of Guatapé, located 2 hours from Medellin. This village is one of the most colorful in Colombia. You will be able to admire the different colorful houses reminiscent of local legends. We also recommend that you take advantage of your visit to this village to climb the monolith of Piedra del Peñol, also known as Peñon de Guatapé. At the end of this ascent, you will be dazzled by the breathtaking view over the village.

  Arrival in Cartagena

  You will leave Medellín for another equally pleasant city, Cartagena, nicknamed the Pearl of the Caribbean. You will arrive in the city at the end of the afternoon. We advise you to get a good rest so you can start tomorrow in good shape.

• day 9

  Discovery of Cartagena

  

  This morning, you can visit Cartagena at your own pace, in complete tranquility. You will be overwhelmed by the elegance of the historic center and its unique architecture, with its flower-filled balconies in harmonious colors. For street art lovers, you won't want to miss a stop in Getsemani, a very lively neighborhood of Cartagena.

  Visit of Cartagena

  

  On this new day, you will continue your visit of Cartagena with new discoveries, including the galleries of the San Felipe castle, the largest fortress built by the Spanish during the colonial period. In the evening, you will enjoy a well-deserved evening with a friendly atmosphere. It will be an opportunity to show off your salsa skills.

  Farniente on Baru Island

  

  After a busy start to your trip filled with visits, it's time to rest! For that, nothing beats a little boat trip that will take you to the paradise beaches of Baru Island. You will be amazed by this little corner of paradise, with its fine white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. If you wish, you can go snorkeling and discover the splendid underwater scenery.

  Visit to the Aviario Nacional bird sanctuary.

  

  After an early breakfast, you will visit the Aviario Nacional bird sanctuary. You will thus be able to discover the wonderful Colombian wildlife and its various and multiple local species, including parrots, toucans, and flamingos.

• day 13

  Farniente in Palomino

  

  Take advantage of a short stop in the coastal town of Palomino to relax and lounge on one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. With your feet in the water, you can admire the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada.

• day 14

  Relaxation day in Palomino

  During this second day of relaxation in Palomino, you can enjoy a short walk in the surroundings or take part in water activities. For food lovers, you can try the local restaurants and taste the different typical dishes of the country.

• day 15

  Discovery of Tayrona Park

  

  You will end this trip on a high note by discovering the unmissable and fantastic Tayrona Park. This very famous park, known for its dreamlike beaches and lush nature, is considered one of the most beautiful places in Colombia. For those who wish, it is possible to go hiking in the forest, home to a variety of plant and animal species, or to enjoy one last moment to relax on the paradisiacal beach of Tayrona Park.

  Bogotá - Return flight

  You will return to the capital Bogotá for one last night. You can take this opportunity to make your last souvenir purchases and taste the famous "ajiaco," so popular in Colombia. It is a soup made with potato, chicken, corn, and banana. This 16-day stay discovering the beauties of Colombia, rich in discoveries and a change of scenery, comes to an end and unfortunately it is time to go home. However, this trip has allowed you to experience extraordinary moments and to create unforgettable memories. The next morning, your driver will take you to the airport for the return flight.
