Puerto Iguazú - Surucua LodgeSuggested itinerary: Today, you take the road from Puerto Iguazu to Comandante Andresito. As soon as you leave Puerto Iguazu, you enter a lush and dense forest. On your way, you will surely come across trucks filled with Yerba Maté. This plant is used for a hot drink served in a gourd, highly appreciated by Argentinians. You continue your journey and go deeper into the forest to reach the Surucua lodge, located near the Río Iguazu. Welcome to Surucua Lodge. You will cross several small villages that, in the past, welcomed many European immigrants: Germans, Poles, Finns, French, Hungarians, etc. In this region, the population lives mainly from agriculture, tea cultivation, and wood. A little further along your route, you will find this dense and lush subtropical forest. Several Guaraní communities (native people living in this region) live around the Salto Encantado Nature Reserve. Salto Encantado, which means "Enchanted Waterfall", is the main attraction of the park. Night at Cuña Pirú Lodge in a cabin 8 meters high (alternative possible).

Salto Encantado - Mission of San Ignacio Miní - PosadasSuggested itinerary: After a good hour of driving, you will arrive at the ruins of San Ignacio. These bear witness to the work of the Jesuits and their inspiration, coming from both indigenous and European cultures.
