  Welcome to Argentina - Buenos Aires

Free day in Buenos Aires, some suggestions Discover the Recoleta district, where you can admire many colonial-style houses, currently inhabited by wealthy Argentine families. In the same neighborhood, you can also visit the famous cemetery where many personalities from Argentine history rest.   Buenos Aires - Puerto Iguazú

  Iguazú National Park, Argentine side - Puerto Iguazú

  

  Suggested itinerary by rental car: Departure this morning to reach the Iguazu park on the Argentine side. You can freely enjoy the different circuits of this magnificent site: lower, upper, and the "Garganta del Diablo" circuit. With 80% of the Iguazu falls, the Argentine side allows you to literally experience the falls. In addition to offering these fabulous and breathtaking landscapes, Iguazu also shelters intense wildlife and lush vegetation. Note 1: It is recommended to wear waterproof and light clothing. Overnight at the Jardin de Iguazu hotel in a standard room.

  Iguazú National Park, Brazilian side - Puerto Iguazú

  

  Suggested itinerary: Departure this morning to reach the Iguazu park on the Brazilian side. On this unique tour, you will walk along the walkways leading to the different viewpoints. A magnificent panorama of the entire falls and San Martin Island stretches out before your eyes. Note: it is recommended to wear waterproof and light clothing. Overnight at the Jardin de Iguazu hotel in a standard room.

  Puerto Iguazú - Surucua Lodge

  

  Suggested itinerary: Today, you take the road from Puerto Iguazu to Comandante Andresito. As soon as you leave Puerto Iguazu, you enter a lush and dense forest. On your way, you will surely come across trucks filled with Yerba Maté. This plant is used for a hot drink served in a gourd, highly appreciated by Argentinians. You continue your journey and go deeper into the forest to reach the Surucua lodge, located near the Río Iguazu. Welcome to Surucua Lodge. It is possible to do several activities of your choice around the lodge (accompanied by an English/Spanish-speaking local guide): - Bird watching and nature photography. - Hiking in the Paraná forest. - Kayaking or boating on the Iguazú river (from 2 nights on site) if weather conditions allow.   Surucua Lodge - Moconá Falls

  

  Suggested itinerary: You leave Surucua Lodge to take the famous route 101. You cross numerous reserves and natural parks ranked among the most preserved in Argentina. You reach El Soberbio, a charming little flower-filled town, where you can discover the Museum of Aromas. On your way, also take the opportunity to visit the Yasi Yateré reserve, where you can enjoy a guided walk through local crops, grown in a traditional and natural way. Finally, you arrive at your hotel near the Mocona Falls, in the heart of lush nature. Check-in at the Mocona Virgin Lodge by DON, located in the Yabotí Reserve, where you can enjoy the trails, natural waterfalls, and included activities, supervised by an English-speaking local guide. Possible activities: hiking on the lodge's trails, kayaking, zip-lining, visit to the Mocona Falls (navigation not included). Overnight at Mocona Virgin Lodge by DON in a standard room.

  Moconá Falls - Enchanted Falls

  

  Suggested itinerary: Departure this morning, you follow the Uruguay river. You will cross several small villages that, in the past, welcomed many European immigrants: Germans, Poles, Finns, French, Hungarians, etc. In this region, the population lives mainly from agriculture, tea cultivation, and wood. A little further along your route, you will find this dense and lush subtropical forest. Several Guaraní communities (native people living in this region) live around the Salto Encantado Nature Reserve. Salto Encantado, which means "Enchanted Waterfall", is the main attraction of the park. Night at Cuña Pirú Lodge in a cabin 8 meters high (alternative possible).

  Salto Encantado - Mission of San Ignacio Miní - Posadas

  

  Suggested itinerary: After a good hour of driving, you will arrive at the ruins of San Ignacio. These bear witness to the work of the Jesuits and their inspiration, coming from both indigenous and European cultures. The best-preserved building is the church, whose immense façade can still be seen today. You will reach the city of Posadas at the end of the day. Return of your vehicle at your hotel.   Posadas - Posada Uguay - Esteros del Iberá

  

  Transfer by private vehicle from Posadas to Posada Uguay. You arrive at Posada Uguay, located in the heart of the Esteros del Iberá park.   The posada has exclusive access to Laguna Fernández, a little-explored area. It is possible to reach it by boat or by kayak. In this privileged environment, you will have the opportunity to observe many wild animals in their natural habitat. Guided tours are organized throughout the day. It is possible to get around on foot, on horseback, or by bicycle. From Posada Uguay, you will be able to discover everything that the Iberá park has to offer: magnificent landscapes, a great diversity of fauna and flora, as well as the traditions of those who live in this region.   Esteros del Iberá - Mercedes - Buenos Aires

  

  After your breakfast, you can enjoy the activities at the place throughout the morning. Lunch and an afternoon snack are also included. At 6:00 p.m., regular transfer from your hotel to Mercedes. Arrival is scheduled for around 8:45 p.m., depending on weather conditions. Night bus from the city of Mercedes to Buenos Aires, about 9 hours of travel.

  Retiro Terminal - Buenos Aires

  

  Reception at the bus terminal and transfer to the hotel in a private vehicle. Transfer carried out with a French-speaking guide. Free day in Buenos Aires to stroll around the capital. Take the opportunity to further explore the small shops in the Palermo and Recoleta neighborhoods, find the dancers at Dorrego Square while sipping a drink in San Telmo, buy local crafts (leather, silversmithing, mate, canvases and alpaca wool vests)...
