day 2
Marrakech — Col de Tichka — Ouarzazate — Vallée des Roses.After breakfast, we will depart for a transfer to the Valley of the Roses, which is the starting point of the hike in the valley. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains and travel along the road over the Tichka Pass before arriving in Ouarzazate, where we will have lunch. After lunch, we will depart for the village of Tabarkhachet, where we will begin our journey and start our hike the next day. Overnight accommodation will be in a gite or with a Berber family.
day 3
Tabarkhachet — Hdaida — BoutghrarAfter breakfast, we prepare for departure to discover the most beautiful landscapes of Morocco: the Valley of Roses, with its thousand kasbahs and its thousand faces. We take some time to get acquainted with the team of muleteers. Then, we load the mules to travel up the Valley of Roses to the Berber village of Hdaida, where we will have lunch by the river. After the meal, we continue our hike towards the village of Boutghrar, where we will spend the night with a local family or in a guesthouse.
day 4
Boutghra --- Gorge d'Agouti --- AlmdouneIn the morning, after breakfast, there is a little time to get acquainted with the team of muleteers. The path runs along the Magoun Valley, dotted with a thousand kasbahs (fortified earth villages). You finish the morning with lunch in the middle of the Agouti Gorge, and then we start our walk to reach the village of Almdoun. Night at the gite.
day 5
Almdoun ----- Amsker LfoukaniThe day begins with a walk on a hill that will lead us to a panoramic view of the Almdoune valley and the Amsker valley on the other side, and the Magoun mountain, the second highest peak in Morocco after Toubkal. Perfectly incorporated into the landscape with their special red ochres, with the saving blue of the sky, they are natural earthen architecture. After a picnic break near caves of Berber nomads, we start the descent to the Amsker valley, where we will stay with the locals.
day 6
Amsker — Gorge of Almdoun — AgerzgaIn the morning, we go down the river to the gorge, from where the view is splendid. Then we go up the pass. To the south, your gaze plunges towards the Jebel Saghro, and to the north, towards the High Atlas. In the afternoon, you will go down along the pass to spend the night close to the fortified village of Agerzga.
day 7
Agerzga — Boutghrar.The day begins with the descent of the M'goun gorges. You move your feet forward in the water (sandals to be provided) in the gorge. You continue to the large plateaus, where you head east along the Jbel Riguit. The valley is filled with large oleanders, in the shade of which you take your lunch break. In the afternoon, you continue eastwards until you reach the famous Dades Valley, in the village of Ait Youl. Overnight at the inhabitant's home or at the gite.
day 8
Boutghrar — Ouarzazate — Kasbah Ait Benhaddou — MarrakechAfter breakfast, we pack our things and leave the Valley of Roses. We head to Marrakech, stopping to visit the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Lunch is served on site, followed by a tour of the famous kasbah. We then depart for Marrakech in the late afternoon. Overnight stay in a riad or hotel.
