• day 1

  Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

  You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or Westlands along the highway and will embark on a scenic drive to the world-famous Maasai Mara. Along the way, you’ll have a brief stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint. Spend 10–15 minutes taking in the awe-inspiring views of one of the most remarkable geological features in the world. Upon arrival in Maasai Mara, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at your camp, giving you time to relax and soak in the surroundings. After checking in, head out on an exhilarating evening game drive from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This is the perfect time to witness the Mara’s incredible wildlife as the golden hour sets over the reserve. After your game drive, return to your camp for a hearty buffet dinner, followed by a peaceful night’s rest. Your accommodation will be at one of the following comfortable camps, where you can unwind in well-equipped tents, each featuring a bed with fresh linens, a private shower and toilet, and mosquito nets for your comfort.   Full Day of Game Drives in Masai Mara

  Your day begins with an early morning game drive, taking you deep into the reserve’s stunning 1,510 km² expanse. As you travel through the wide-open savannah and lush riverine woodlands, you'll have the chance to spot a variety of wildlife. The Mara is teeming with creatures such as Masai giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and topis. Keep an eye out for larger mammals like elephants, buffaloes, and hippos, as well as predators such as lions basking in the sun or hunting on the plains. In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy another thrilling game drive, venturing through different parts of the reserve. The Masai Mara is home to numerous species, including spotted hyenas, bat-eared foxes, and grey jackals. You’ll also have the opportunity to see elusive animals like leopards and cheetahs, though they are harder to spot. The day ends with a stunning sunset over the Mara, painting the sky in vibrant oranges and reds, perfect for a photo opportunity. After your game drives, return to your camp for a relaxing dinner and a peaceful night under the stars.

  Maasai Mara to Nairobi

  On this day, you wake up and enjoy the scenic view from your hotel. Later, have your breakfast and check out. You will visit a Masai village (extra cost $20, optional), where you will learn more about the Masai culture and have a chance to enjoy their dance. Later, depart for Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi by 1530hrs. On arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped at your hotel within the city center or Westlands area.
