    Welcome at the airport by our French-speaking guide. Transfer and check-in at the *Miramar by Windsor hotel. As this is a tailor-made trip, we adapt the schedule of visits according to flight times. After a long flight from France (+/- 11h) and the time difference, we generally suggest a bit of rest before starting the visits. However, we remain open to any wishes you may have. Free afternoon. "Corcovado" is a distortion of the word "hunchback" in Portuguese to designate the mountain that dominates Rio from its 710 meters and on which stands the giant statue (38 m high, 28 m wide) of Christ the Redeemer, created by the French sculptor Paul Landowski. Walk through old Rio, its cultural corridors, the Tiradentes Palace, the Lapa dos Mercadores church, XV Square, the Casa França-Brasil, the Candelária church, the Saint Benedict monastery and its gold-covered church. We will end the tour with a visit to the superb modern metropolitan cathedral, inspired by an Inca temple. Lunch at leisure. In the afternoon, visit of Santa Teresa. This neighborhood has many houses from the early 20th century, built by the English. Today, Santa Teresa is known for its visual arts shops and also for its tramway. Dinner at leisure. Meet at the airport by our guide and private transfer to the *Bourbon Cataratas 5*. In the afternoon, visit the falls on the Brazilian side (03 hours): on the Brazilian side, you will have a better view of all the falls (03 km of falls). Lunch and dinner at your leisure.     Brazilian breakfast served at the hotel restaurant. Full day: you will discover the falls on the Argentine side. Most of the falls are located in Argentine territory. Four trails will allow you to discover them by getting as close as possible, right in the heart of the forest. The Argentine park has a small train that will take you to the start of the hiking trails to the falls. This same small train will take you to the walkways leading to the Garganta del Diablo ("Devil's Throat"). Lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, visit to the Tropics Bird Park (1h30 visit). Discover magnificent birds of the region, in a park located in the heart of the tropical forest. It is one of the ecological sanctuaries that allows for ecotourism. You can see more than 900 birds of 150 different species, protected in large aviaries, scattered over 4 hectares. The tour is done on foot, in the middle of the forest, passing through the different aviaries. This path, about 1000 meters long, allows a unique approach to the different species. Some suggestions for activities on the island: Discovery day: On board a speedboat, you will discover the Tinharé archipelago and its three main islands. Tinharé Island with Garapuá and its natural pools. Further south, you can then enjoy a freshly caught lobster on the deserted beaches of Boipeba Island. Finally, while sailing through the mangroves, you will stop at Cairu to visit its early 17th-century Franciscan convent. Robinson day: At sea on board a typical Bahian boat, you will follow the coasts of Morro de São Paulo to take a regenerating clay bath on Gamboa beach. Depending on the tide, we will stop for a moment on the "Coroa" sandbank and then go taste grilled fish on the deserted beach at the tip of "Curral." Walk for miles on white sand.

We offer you a ride on the deserted beaches of Morro de São Paulo, then a discovery of the coconut plantations to then reach the wild beach of Garapua. Located in the middle of the mangrove, this stretch of white sand will be a perfect stop to take a swim and enjoy local specialties. Or, the "Fishing" day: at the exit of the estuary of the "rio Una" there is an underwater plateau rich in all kinds of fish. At the first light of day, you will board with all the equipment to first fish, with a net, for sardines that will be used as bait. Trolling or stationary, fishing enthusiasts will benefit from the advice of experienced fishermen to try to bring back some fish while watching the day break over the still-sleeping island. Another suggestion, the "Nature" day on the Una river: you will head inland to enter a 9,000-hectare natural park. In the midst of aquatic flora and natural waterfalls, you will discover the rubber tree and rubber cultivation, cocoa and its chocolate seeds, and many other trees that are among the approximately 250 species of conifers listed along the route.
