After immigration, customs, and money exchange, meet the representative at the airport and drive directly to Galle (approximately 2 hours drive). Hotel check-in time is 14:00. This afternoon, proceed for the sightseeing tour. The old town of Galle was once used as a trading port for spices and other goods for over 200 years. However, today, the fort has been transformed into a place of history, romance, and beauty, where travellers are warmly welcomed to dive headfirst into the exotic stories and be a part of this heritage site. Galle - Ella (about 3 hours by road)Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Ella, en route visit Rawana Falls. Just 2 km from Ella city, perched at an altitude of 82 feet, are the Ravana cave and Ravana Falls. The history of Sri Lanka dates back over 2000 years and is featured in the iconic Ramayana. It is believed that Ravana was a fervent Sri Lankan by origin and stood as a villain in the lives of the duo Ram and Sita. He captured Sita and kept her hostage in his custody in the famous Ravana caves and at the Ravana Falls. The landscapes around the Ravana Falls comprise slopes, valleys, hills, and streams that ornament the rocks. On the way, stop at one of the Hindu temples (Kataragama Murugan Temple). Continue the drive to Ella. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

The Nine Arch Bridge, also known as the "Bridge in the Sky", was constructed by connecting two big mountains during the construction of the Badulla – Colombo railway. This bridge is 300 feet in length, 25 feet in width, and 80-100 feet in height. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. The bridge can be reached by travelling 2 km on Gotuwala Road, starting from Halpe Textile Centre on Badulla Bandarawela Road. The surrounding area has seen a steady increase in tourism due to the bridge’s architectural ingenuity and the lush greenery on the nearby hillsides. Excursion to Little Adam’s Peak, which sits 1,141 m above sea level in Ella and aptly got its name after its big brother, Adam’s Peak, a much larger mountain located in the west of Sri Lanka in Nuwara Eliya. Little Adam’s Peak is a very short hike with a very big reward, boasting spectacular views of the surrounding mountains in the ‘hill country’ region. It is an easy hike for all sorts of travelers. In KandyBreakfast at the hotel. Morning, proceed for the city tour of Kandy, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Situated in the ancient kingdom in the central highlands of the country, the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy, also known as Dalada Maligawa, is considered one of the holiest and most sacred sites for Buddhists. It is believed that the temple is home to one of the tooth relics of Lord Buddha. Afternoon, enjoy a Tuk Tuk ride and visit the Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Kandy - Matale - Dambulla - Sigiriya (about 4 hours by road)Breakfast at the hotel. Morning drive to Sigiriya. En route, visit a spice garden. Continue the drive and visit the rock cave temple in Dambulla. A sacred pilgrimage site for 22 centuries, this cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the largest and best-preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. Also visit the Sri Muthumariamman Temple. Continue the drive to Sigiriya. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - SigiriyaBreakfast at the hotel. Day excursion to Polonnaruwa. Sri Lanka’s second most ancient kingdom, Polonnaruwa, became the capital of Sri Lanka following the destruction of Anuradhapura in 993 AD. Built by King Parakramabahu I, this urban green city has seen numerous civilizations journey through this kingdom, including the Cholas, South Indian Hindus, and Buddhist Sinhalese, between the 12th and 13th centuries. Enjoy a walk around the surroundings and then enjoy an elephant ride in Habarana. Return to the hotel in Sigiriya. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Sigiriya - Minneriya - SigiriyaBreakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to the Rock Fortress in Sigiriya. The ruins of the capital built by the parricidal King Kassapa (477–95) lie on the steep slopes and at the summit of a granite peak standing some 180m high (the ‘Lion’s Rock’, which dominates the jungle from all sides). A series of galleries and staircases emerging from the mouth of a gigantic lion constructed of bricks and plaster provide access to the site. Later this afternoon, enjoy a safari in Minneriya National Park. The Jeep Safari Tour gives you a chance to see a larger gathering of elephants than the morning Jeep Safari Tour. You may also see other animals like deer, water buffalo, crocodiles, iguanas, monkeys, as well as birds like peacocks, pelicans, eagles, etc. Return to the hotel in Sigiriya. Overnight stay at the hotel.

This includes Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the world’s oldest living tree and sacred to Buddhism; Ruwanwelisaya Dagoba; and Tissa Wewa. Overnight at the hotel.

Anuradhapura - Colombo (about 5 hours by road)After an early breakfast, transfer to the railway station in time to board the train for Colombo. Upon arrival in Colombo, enjoy a short orientation tour, then transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
