• day 1

  Arrival in New Delhi

  

  Arrival at New Delhi International Airport. Your personal driver is waiting for you at the airport and will take you to your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 2

  Delhi - Mandawa (Shekhawati) - 260 km

  

  After breakfast, departure for Mandawa. If you did not have time to visit Delhi the day before, you can do so on this day, before heading to Mandawa. Shekhawati is the region of Rajasthan nicknamed "the open-air art gallery of Rajasthan." Once you arrive in Mandawa, check-in at the hotel, then discover the small alleys and the artistic and architectural works of Mandawa on foot. Overnight at the hotel.

  Chomu - Bikaner - 295 km

  

  Departure in the morning, after breakfast, heading towards Bikaner. Once at the destination, check-in at the hotel and discovery of the city, notably its magnificent fortress and its havelis. Then, visit of the Junagarh Fort: built in 1478, this fort is a reference in terms of Hindu architecture. The temples and palaces are built of sandstone and marble. You can also take a tour of the famous Sadar Bazar market, colored by the traditional clothing of women and the turbans of men. Overnight at the hotel.

  Breakfast at the hotel. Early morning departure towards Bundi. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel, then a visit to the immense "Taragarh Fort" will reveal architectural wonders such as huge gates, murals, bastions, weapons, palaces, and lakes. You will then visit the Garh Palace. The "Garh Palace", one of the largest palaces in India, is also a must-see.   Safari day. With a naturalist guide, discover the abundant wildlife of the national park, once the hunting grounds of the Maharaja. You will go on 2 safaris: one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

  Ranthambore - Agra (via Fatehpur Sikri) - 257 km

  

  Departure in the morning, after breakfast, heading towards Agra. Stop on the way to visit the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri, former capital of Agra built by Emperor Akbar in 1659, later abandoned due to lack of water. Visit of the Jama Masjid mosque, the tomb of Salim Christi, the Panch Mahal and some other palaces. After the visit, continuation of the journey to Agra. Visit of the Red Fort.   Agra - Jhansi (by train) - Orchha - 15 km

  

  Visit to the Taj Mahal at sunrise (monument closed on Fridays). The splendid colors reflected on the white marble of the Taj Mahal offer a magnificent opportunity to take stunning photos. After breakfast, departure towards Orchha. Once arrived, check-in at the hotel. Lunch at the hotel.   Departure towards Panna National Park via Khajuraho. Once arrived, check-in at the hotel. Then, visit of the city and its erotic temples. There are three groups of temples: - The western group includes the Matangeshvara temple, as well as the Lakshmana, Kandariya, Chitragupta, and Vishvanatha temples. - The eastern group mainly consists of Jain temples: Adinath temple, Parshvanath temple, Shantinath temple. - The southern group, near the old village, includes the Duladeo temple and especially the Chaturbhuja temple.   Khajuraho - Benares (Varanasi) (by plane)

  

  Transfer to Khajuraho airport for your flight to Varanasi. Your driver will be waiting for you at the airport and will take you to your hotel. Once you arrive in Varanasi, check-in at the hotel. Then, visit the ghats and afterwards enjoy a traditional boat cruise on the Ganges in the evening. This ride on the sacred waters at sunset takes place during Hindu prayers and divine chants. The glow of candles floating on the water is sublime and gives a mystical and romantic touch to the cruise. Overnight at the hotel.

  Benares

  

  Full day dedicated to the discovery and exploration of the sacred city. The city has enough ghats to explore and temples to visit to satisfy your thirst for spirituality.

• day 15

  Benares - Delhi

  

  Departure at sunrise for a second cruise on the Ganges with a different perspective. This trip offers this time a precise and sublime glimpse of the ever-bustling life on the banks of the Ganges and on the ghats of Varanasi. After the cruise, visit Sarnath, the Buddhist city located 15 km from Varanasi. Transfer to Varanasi airport to take the flight to New Delhi.
