Day 1 - WELCOME TO CANCUNUpon your arrival at the airport, we will give you all the necessary instructions to easily leave the airport and join our Xplorer, who will welcome you outside. Arrivals generally take place in the late afternoon or even early evening. We therefore plan your first night in Cancun.
day 2
Day 2 - VISIT OF VALLADOLIDAfter picking up your rental car, leave Cancun for the charming colonial city of Valladolid, classified as a Pueblo Mágico. Take the time to stroll through the "zócalo," the historic city center, with its colorful streets, white cathedral, municipal bazaar, and the San Bernardino Convent. As an option, we suggest visiting an apiary where the Maya bee is still raised, or a local distillery to discover how the most famous Mexican alcohol is made: Tequila.

Day 3 - RIO LAGARTOS AND LAS COLORADASDeparture for the small fishing village of Rio Lagartos in the morning, to visit this nature reserve that will delight nature lovers. More than 200 species of birds have made their home there. As an option, you can board a small boat to navigate through the mangrove and observe the fauna and flora of this extraordinary environment. Then, head towards the famous pink lagoon of Las Coloradas, which owes its name to the salinity of the water giving it an incredible pink color! In the afternoon, you take the road to Ek Balam, a little-known but absolutely magnificent Mayan site. The visit is well worth it!
day 4
Day 4 - Colonial cities of Izamal and MéridaAfter breakfast, you will leave for the "pueblo mágico" of Izamal to visit its famous yellow-adorned convent and its charming little downtown. From the yellow of Izamal, we move on to the white of Mérida, the capital of the state of Yucatán. Take the afternoon to visit its cathedral, its "Paseo Montejo" lined with the sumptuous mansions of the former henequen masters, its zócalo, or even the Governor's Palace.

Day 5 - UXMAL SITE, BIKE RIDE AND SWIMMING IN A CENOTEThis morning, you will set out to discover the Mayan site of Uxmal, one of the most important archaeological sites in Yucatán. You will admire its monuments with typical architecture, such as the Nunnery Quadrangle or the Governor's Palace. It is possible to request the services of a French-speaking guide, at an additional cost. For lunch, we offer you the option of an authentic lunch with a local host, in a Mayan family. The afternoon will be dedicated to nature, with a program including a mountain bike ride and a swim in a cenote, all in the exceptional setting of the Yucatecan jungle. Return to Mérida at the end of the day.
day 6
Day 6 - THE MAYA CITY OF CHICHÉN ITZÁToday, we advise you to hit the road fairly early in order to enjoy the site of Chichen Itza, listed among the "new wonders of the world" by UNESCO, before the crowds and the heat. You will be amazed by the architectural beauty of these ruins, especially the pyramid of Kukulkan. It is possible to request the services of a French-speaking guide, at an additional cost. You will then have the opportunity to cool off in a cenote near the site. After the tourist lunch, departure for the Riviera Maya and the small town of Playa del Carmen, on the edge of the Caribbean Sea. Take advantage of your late afternoon to stroll through the lively streets or take a swim in the Caribbean Sea!
day 7
Day 7 - PLAYA DEL CARMENSpend a relaxing day in Playa del Carmen. If you want to do tours or activities, it is possible to add them.
day 8
Day 8 - DEPARTUREEnjoy your last moments of relaxation, it might be the perfect opportunity to shop for souvenirs. Then, it's time to pack your bags before heading to Cancun airport. Don't forget to respect the timing for returning the vehicle. It is possible to request an earlier return of the vehicle and to book a transfer back to the airport.
