Picnic lunch will be served around 12:30 pm at the picnic site and, after that, you will continue to explore this amazing park. In the evening, after exploring, you will go directly to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.
day 3
Serengeti National ParkAfter breakfast, we head directly to the Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at a constructed viewpoint that offers a nearly 180° view of the Ngorongoro Crater. The Serengeti is truly spectacular. It is famous for its vast open grasslands that allow for excellent wildlife viewing. The Serengeti is the oldest national park in Tanzania and is also one of the oldest ecosystems on the planet. Its climate and vegetation have remained largely unchanged for millions of years. While the Serengeti has abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for the annual Great Migration. A large number of wildebeest, accompanied by many zebras and antelopes, move in an annual pattern, constantly searching for fresh pastures. The Serengeti offers an exotic game viewing experience throughout Africa by giving you a glimpse of the animals: large herds of buffalo, small groups of elephants and giraffes, and thousands of Eland, Topi, Impala, and Grant's gazelles. The Serengeti is also known for its large number of predators, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, and wild dogs.
day 4
Serengeti National ParkOn that day, you will spend the whole day exploring Serengeti National Park on a safari. You can choose to have a hot lunch at the camp or a picnic in the park. We highly recommend getting up early for a safari to enjoy the sunrise in the middle of the bush, while spotting wild animals in the park.
day 5
Ngorongoro CraterEarly in the morning, after breakfast around 6:30 am, you will head directly to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater, which is 600 m deep. The Ngorongoro Crater is a breathtakingly beautiful setting. It is one of the most beautiful natural wildlife safari sites in the world and an exceptional place to interact with members of the Maasai tribe. Upon reaching the edge of the crater, the 20 km wide caldera opens up before you in all its splendor and you will descend into the crater via an adventurous trail. This World Heritage site is home seasonally to more than 25,000 animals, including a wide variety of bird species, hyenas, and endangered black rhinos. A hot lunch will be served at a picnic spot by the hippo pool and, after that, you will continue your incredible safari inside the Ngorongoro Crater. After further exploration inside the park, you will head directly to your accommodation.
