Arrival and transfer from the airport to the hotel in Arusha.Our professional driver-guide will be at Kilimanjaro International Airport to pick you up upon arrival. After you have completed the immigration formalities, you will drive together to your hotel for 2 nights to relax after your flight and prepare to start the safari the next day. Free day in Arusha.On this day, you will have an opportunity to do activities in Arusha, and participation is optional. You may choose from a town tour, a visit to the Maasai market, a visit to SANAA, or other cultural activities. A guide will be available to assist you in selecting and participating in these activities. Alternatively, you may decide to take a rest day and relax at the lodge where you are staying, and prepare yourself for the wildlife safari tomorrow. Accommodation: Moivaro Lodge (HB)
day 3
Drive to and enjoy a game drive in Tarangire National Park.You will start the day by driving to Tarangire National Park. It is known as a wonderful birding destination and also features large numbers of game, particularly during the dry season, when the Tarangire River is the only source of water in the area. The landscape is of particular interest too, due to the high number of scenic baobab trees and the large population of elephants. You will have hampers instead of lunchboxes at the picnic area. Later on, you will proceed to drive to your evening accommodation in Arusha for relaxation and refreshments. Accommodation: Baobab Tented Camp

Drive to Serengeti National Park.After an early start, you will travel along adventurous dirt tracks with breathtaking views as your vehicle climbs out of the Rift Valley to reach the grassy plains of the Serengeti by midday. In Maasai, Serengeti means “endless plains,” and you will truly find the grassland savannah stretching to the horizon, dotted with grazing animals. Serengeti is a must-see park for anyone planning a trip to Tanzania. It is the park where the greatest wonder of the world, “The Annual Migration of Wild Beasts,” takes place. In this event, millions of animals march in search of fresh pasture and water, risking their lives and even the lives of their calves as you head to your hotel. Accommodation: Ikoma Tented Camp

Full-day game drive in the Serengeti.Another day to enjoy the home of the enormous migratory herds during the dry season. The Serengeti remains an unexplored wilderness packed with stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. The most captivating highlight of this area is undoubtedly the massive herds of migratory wildebeest and zebra during the dry season. However, the North Serengeti also supports an abundance of resident wildlife, including lion, elephant, hippo, giraffe, crocodile, and the rare oribi antelope. In the evening, you will head back to your camp for rest. Accommodation: Ikoma Tented Camp

Drive from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.On this day, you will travel from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive will take at least 5 hours, so by the time you reach the conservation area, you won’t do the crater tour until tomorrow. This is a day with a long ride, but you will have ample time to rest for tomorrow’s adventure. Accommodation: Bougainvillea Safari Lodge

Ngorongoro Crater TourYou will have an early breakfast, then head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a packed lunch for a full-day crater tour in the inactive volcanic caldera. Formed 3 million years ago after the collapse of a giant volcano, with a depth of 610m and a floor area of 260 km2, the crater is considered a natural wonder of Africa. It boasts a variety of large animals, approximately 25,000 in number, including the rare black rhino. Lunch is at a picnic site with a view of hippos lazing in the shallow waters of the lake. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.You will depart to Mto Wa Mbu, where you will enjoy a game drive in Manyara National Park. After completing the park payments, you will drive through a lush forest, then open grassland, and finally reach the lake edge. The park is a game watcher’s paradise, full of endemic species. You can also expect to see various animals such as elephants, hippos, impala, dik-dik, bushbuck, and, if you are lucky, the famous tree-climbing lions of Manyara. Accommodation: Migunga Tented Camp

Drive to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.On this day, you will drive from Manyara to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be transferred from Zanzibar Airport to your hotel, which will be in Stone Town. Accommodation: Tembo House

Full day in Stone Town.On this day, you will have a free day in Stone Town with optional activities that can be arranged by our guide (such as a Stone Town tour, etc.). You will also have free time to relax and refresh after your long wildlife safari on the Tanzanian mainland. Accommodation: Tembo House

Transfer to the beach.On this day, you will be transferred to a hotel with beach access, which will broaden your options for activities that can be enjoyed on the beach and in the ocean. Accommodation: Kena Beach Hotel
