• day 1

  Arrival - JRO - Kilimanjaro Airport

  

  Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, you will be greeted by a member of the Expect in Africa Safari team, who will transfer you by road to your hotel. Accommodation: Kahawa House Meals: All meals are included Drinks: Non-alcoholic drinks

  Tarangire National Park

  

  After breakfast, the driver-guide will take you from the hotel to Tarangire National Park, a 2-hour drive from Arusha. Tarangire is the third largest national park and a sanctuary for a generally large elephant population. Accommodation: Burunge Tented Lodge Meals: All meals are included Drinks: Non-alcoholic drinks

  Route to the central Serengeti National Park

  

  We will start the day with a scenic drive towards the Serengeti. On the way, we will cross the humid rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you may have the chance to spot Cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards in the dense undergrowth.   Full day of animal observation in the Serengeti.

  

  Shortly after breakfast, you will depart for a full day safari in Serengeti National Park. Serengeti National Park is known for its massive annual migration of wildebeest and zebras. In search of new pastures, the herds move north from their breeding grounds in the southern grasslands. We have no mileage limit. Discuss with your driver the time you wish to start and the time you wish to return to your camp. You will enjoy your packed lunch at the picnic site, then continue your safari.   Explore the Ngorongoro Crater

  

  Departure for the Ngorongoro, descent into the 600-meter crater to discover the true spirit of Africa. Game viewing will give you the opportunity to spot the Big Five in this magnificent crater, a wonder of the world. Elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, and the rare black rhinoceros, as well as hyenas, jackals, flamingos, and hippos are among the animals that make this crater unique.   Departure

  

  Departure from the lodge in the middle of the morning, heading to the airport for your return home. Breakfast and lunch.
