    Days 1-2-3: Chobe National Park

Upon your arrival at Kasane airport, you will be greeted by our representative, who will take you to the Chobe Bush Lodge or the lodge of your choice. Chobe National Park is certainly a place to visit during your safari in Botswana. It is located in the northwest district of Botswana, with the Chobe River forming the northern border of the park. It is flanked to the southwest by the Okavango Delta and Moremi Game Reserve, and to the east by the Chobe Forest, which runs parallel to the Zimbabwe border. The Chobe floodplains and the Chobe River form a sensitive ecosystem where Botswana's wildlife gathers during the dry season. It is not uncommon to see between 500 and 5,000 elephants on these floodplains. The highlight of a visit to Chobe National Park is the combination of wildlife, birds, and reptiles found along the banks of the Chobe River. Spend three nights at the Chobe Bush Lodge, enjoy a Sun Downer view during a boat cruise, and a day on the road with game drives to Chobe National Park. The small town of Victoria Falls claims the title of Africa's adrenaline capital, combining its spectacular scenery with a seemingly endless variety of adventure sports ranging from bungee jumping to canoeing and white-water rafting. Our driver-guide will take you directly to the entrance of the rainforest (entry fee of $30 to be paid directly at the entrance). Two hours of walking in the nature reserve where our guide will be waiting for you and will take you for lunch at the Victoria Falls Hotel, lunch with guests. 2:00 pm: you will resume the guided tour, visit the David Livingstone Tree, and you can also book other activities, for example a helicopter flight. In the evening, you will be taken to Kasane / Chobe for dinner and overnight.

Gweta / edge of the Makgadikgadi Pan

After breakfast, you will head back down to Gweta, passing through the small village of Nata, which is a 4-hour drive from Gweta Lodge or Planet Baobab, located on the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pan. This vast emptiness of the main salt pan is an immense white sea, the remnant of the center of a huge lake that evaporated more than 2,000 years ago. This panorama of white sand and salt is home to one of the largest zebra populations in Africa. When the rains fall during the rainy season, the pans fill with water and attract large numbers of zebras, springboks, and wildebeest, closely followed by predators, making for fantastic game viewing. Colonies of flamingos can also be seen in spectacular breeding displays. At sunset, take a walk with your guide through the surrounding baobab forest. Discover the unique geology and the famous baobab, which is not an infected tree but the largest succulent in the world. Enjoy the sunset with a cool drink around a campfire while your guide explains the fascinating geological origins of the Makgadikgadi. Guests will be taken on a one-and-a-half-hour guided tour of the village of Gweta, during which they will learn how the villagers live. They will go to the "Kgotla," where the Chief will explain to them the life of the village and its inhabitants. They will visit the primary school, the hospital, the local shops, and the local witch doctor, who will throw the bones and predict their future. After lunch, guests will leave Gweta Lodge at 2:00 pm to go to Ntwetwe Pan, stopping at Hugo's Baobab and other cultural sites. Once they arrive at the edge of the pan, a night camp will be waiting for you, where the staff will unload all the bedrolls, tables, and other equipment for the night. Potjie for dinner and a night under the stars. What more could you ask for?

    Okavango Delta

In the morning, you will set out in search of meerkats, before returning to the lodge for refreshments and a full breakfast. Then, allow 2 and a half hours of driving to Maun, where you will arrive in time for a flight to the Moremi crossing camp or a lodge of your choice in the Okavango Delta. The Okavango Delta is the largest inland delta in the world and is often considered a miracle of nature. A labyrinth of sparkling lagoons, winding channels, and islands teeming with wildlife, Botswana's Okavango Delta is a true jewel in the heart of the Kalahari Desert. Known as the river that never finds the sea, the delta's crystal-clear channels stretch across the thirsty lands of the Kalahari, with their papyrus-lined banks and fertile floating islands. Guided excursions in a dugout canoe (mokoro) take you to the heart of the delta, on foot or by local boat/canoe. Your accommodation is in a luxurious permanent camp, with a private bathroom, built on an elevated wooden platform, with running hot and cold water, flush toilets, beds, bedding, and tasteful furniture. Spend two nights at the camp in the Okavango Delta, where all meals, tea, coffee, daily safaris, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included, except for premium brands, certain champagnes, etc.
