• day 1

  Transfer from the airport to the hotel.

  

  Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will go through immigration and be warmly welcomed by our driver-guide, who will greet you in the land of a thousand hills, Rwanda. Later, you will be transferred to your reserved hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation: Chez Lando Hotel Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• day 2

  Transfer to Nyungwe National Park

  

  Early in the morning, after your breakfast, departure from the hotel and head to the Western Province for the Nyungwe Forest. On the way, visit the Royal Palace Museum of Nyanza; this will allow you to discover the rich history of the traditional life of Rwandans and their former leadership style. You will arrive in the afternoon at Nyungwe National Park, where you will continue with a canopy walk. A 70-meter suspended metal bridge will offer you an excellent view of the Nyungwe Forest. • day 3

  Chimpanzee trekking and tea plantation visit

  

  Today, after your breakfast, you will leave your hotel to discover the natural forest of Nyungwe, well known for being home to 13 species of primates. You will then be transferred to the park for a briefing regarding chimpanzee trekking. After the chimpanzee trek, head for lunch before visiting a tea plantation. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. • day 4

  Transfer from Lake Kivu to Kibuye

  

  In the morning, after finishing your breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibuye for a boat ride to explore the beautiful attractions of the lake. You will walk in nature on one of the islands of this lake, known for being home to thousands of bats. This lake is also renowned as a paradise for birdwatching, as it is home to a number of species such as the cormorant, the heron, etc. Later, return to your hotel for dinner and overnight. • day 5

  Transfer to Musanze via the Congo-Nile trail.

  

  In the morning, after breakfast, you will go to Kinunu for a coffee plantation visit, then you will continue your visit to Rubavu to discover the city of Rubavu, located at the border with Congo. In the afternoon, you will go to Volcanoes National Park for dinner and overnight. Accommodation: Da Vinci Gorilla Lodge Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner

• day 6

  Golden Monkey trekking and transfer to Bwindi

  

  Today, after your breakfast, you will be transferred by our driver-guide to the park headquarters for a briefing on monkey trekking. In the afternoon, you will have your lunch, then you will depart for Bwindi via the Cyanika border. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Accommodation: Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge Meal plan: breakfast, lunch and dinner

• day 7

  Gorilla trekking experience.

  

  Early in the morning, after breakfast, get ready for the gorilla trekking briefing. Then, you will enter the jungle to search for the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their way of life in their true habitat. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these impressive animals for an hour. During a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of physical fitness is required, as well as suitable walking shoes. After this trekking experience, you will return to your lodge for lunch. You can then relax while waiting for the evening. • day 8

  Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

  

  Today, after your breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, where you will spend a wonderful time relaxing by this magnificent large lake. Lunch will be served, then you will go for a canoe ride on this spectacular lake, while enjoying a birdwatching session and the view of the many islands hidden in this large lake known as a paradise for birds. • day 9

  Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha sector)

  

  After your breakfast, you will prepare your luggage for a long drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Ishasha sector. You will have lunch, then later, you will go on an evening safari in search of the tree-climbing lions, which are very well known in the Ishasha sector. Accommodation: Topi Lodge Meal plan: breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• day 10

  Visit of the animals in Ishasha and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP

  

  After your early morning breakfast, you will head out for a morning safari to spot tree-climbing lions and other wildlife species, including a number of birds, before later heading to your reserved lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to observe birds and aquatic animals such as buffaloes, crocodiles, elephants... After the boat cruise, you will participate in a short evening safari, then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. • day 11

  Visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park to observe animals.

  

  In the morning, after your breakfast, you will go to observe animals at Queen Elizabeth NP for the whole morning. You will see different types of animals such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes... You will return in the afternoon to relax at your hotel. • day 12

  Return to Kigali and departure.

  

  You will have breakfast, then head towards Kigali. You will enjoy a pleasant walk, during which you will receive information about the country, while admiring a breathtaking view of the plantations and countryside, and observing the small businesses located along the roadside. Several stops are planned along the way. You will arrive at your destination in the afternoon and go to a local restaurant to taste the best local cuisine, before being transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
