  Arrival in Riga

  Arrival in Riga, meeting and transfer to the hotel, check-in. Overnight in Riga.

• day 2

  Riga

  Breakfast at the hotel. 09:00-12:00: Morning dedicated to a guided tour of Riga, including the famous Art Nouveau streets in the city center. During the tour of the old town, you will discover the Riga Dome Cathedral, whose construction began in the 13th century, the Gothic St. Peter's Church, St. James's Cathedral which houses the seat of the Roman Catholic Church, as well as St. James of Compostela Church. You will also visit St. George's Church, called the White Stone Palace, the beautiful synagogue of Old Riga, the courtyard of the Holy Spirit Convent, the Dannenstern House, the residential complex "The Three Brothers", Riga Castle, the Great and Small Guilds, as well as the reconstructed House of the Blackheads, which evokes the Hanseatic times. The Latvian National Opera and many other impressive attractions in Riga will also be on the program. Organ music concert at the Dome Cathedral. In the evening, optional visit: Kokle concert "Play, Brother! Play, Sister Sister!" at the Dailes Theatre Great Hall, traditional Latvian costume show at the Palladium Concert Hall, or Latvian vocal symphonic music concert at Arena Riga. Overnight in Riga.

  Sigulda & Turaida

  Breakfast at the hotel. 09:00-15:00: Guided tour of Sigulda and Turaida. On this day, you will be swept away by history. Since the time when the Baltic and Liv tribes fought with the German crusaders, Sigulda has prided itself on exciting legends and powerful castles, located within cannon range of each other. During the guided tour, we will visit the Turaida Museum Reserve, including its medieval castle, Gutmans Cave (the most popular and largest in Latvia), the ruins of Sigulda Castle, the new Sigulda Castle, as well as the medieval Krimulda Castle and its manor, a cultural and historical monument. 22:00: Optional night visit to the Grand Dance Concert "The Land of Mara" at the Daugava Stadium. Overnight in Riga.

• day 4

  Day 4 : 07.07.2018

  Breakfast at the hotel. 10:00-16:00: Guided tour of the Riga Open-Air Museum, where you can attend various folk performances included in the program of the Latvian Song and Dance Celebration. Today, you visit one of the oldest and largest open-air museums in Europe: the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum in Riga. The museum has 118 old buildings from all the historical regions of Latvia: Kurzeme, Vidzeme, Zemgale, and Latgale, built from the end of the 17th century to the second half of the 1930s. Latvian farmers', craftsmen's, and fishermen's farms have been reconstructed in the museum. They all house the permanent exhibition: household and work tools, interior furniture, which characterize the era, the region, and the owners' occupation. The Liv fishermen's farms from Kurzeme and the Russian Old Believers' farms from Latgale are also open to visitors. 22:00: Optional night visit to the Grand Dance Concert "The Land of Mara" at Daugava Stadium. Overnight in Riga.

  Rundale Palace & Grand concert

  Breakfast at the hotel. 09:00-15:00: Guided tour of Rundale Palace. Today, we head together to Rundale Palace, which is one of the most remarkable monuments of Baroque and Rococo architecture in Latvia. It was built between 1736 and 1740 as a summer residence for Ernst Johann Biron, Duke of Courland and favorite of Russian Empress Anna Ioannovna. The palace park extends to the south of the building and was designed by Bartolomeo Rastrelli at the same time as the palace. 20:00: Optional visit to the grand evening concert: the closing concert "Following the Path of the Stars" - an evening for all those who come together in song at the Great Stage of Mezaparcs. Overnight in Riga.

  Riga Return

  Breakfast at the hotel, then departure. Transfer to Riga airport.
