    Welcome to this land where you will experience a moment of your own story! You are welcomed at the airport upon your arrival. Head to Negombo and check in at your hotel. You can enjoy some relaxing moments by visiting this seaside resort, renowned for the beauty of its beaches. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a boat ride on the canal built by the Dutch for the transport of spices and now used by fishermen to access the sea. Or stroll through the colorful fish market, one of the liveliest places in the country.

    Visit of the holy city of Anuradhapura.

    Today, you head to the tip of the cultural triangle: the sacred city of Anuradhapura, the ancient capital of Sri Lanka, which is full of treasures, the legacy of a millennia-old civilization. This UNESCO World Heritage site is home to the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the sacred tree grown from a branch of the Ficus religiosa under which Buddha attained enlightenment. The Pleasure Gardens, monastic complexes filled with statues, and the monumental Jetavanaramaya stupa, which rises to 122 m, are among the wonders to discover. You then visit Mihintale, a major site of Sri Lankan Buddhism.

    Ascent of the Lion Rock of Sigiriya

    Early in the morning, you set out to conquer the Lion Rock. It is the most visited site in Sri Lanka and is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. The ruins of the citadel are perched at the top of a rock that rises to 370 m. During the ascent, you can admire the frescoes of the Maidens of Sigiriya. At the summit, take in the splendid view overlooking the gardens at the foot of the rock. Then, enjoy a ride in an ox cart through the surrounding countryside. Let yourself be immersed in the superb, timeless landscapes.

    After breakfast, you head towards Dambulla, where one of the country's most beautiful sanctuaries stretches around a rock carved with cave temples: the Golden Temple, dominated by a solemn Buddha. You continue on to Matale, where spice gardens and batik workshops intoxicate you with intense scents and colors. You will have the opportunity to discover all the benefits of the island's spices and the traditional making of fabrics in infinite colors.

    This morning, you observe the elephants taken in by the Millenium Elephant Foundation. You are in direct contact with the pachyderms while they take their bath. You then visit an amazing paper mill that recycles elephant droppings to produce small notebooks. You then go to admire a unique wooden temple in Embekke.

    In the heart of the Sinhalese country, Kandy

    Today, you head towards Kandy, the true Sinhalese cultural center of the country. You will discover the Temple of the Tooth, which houses a relic of Buddha, a sacred place and a pilgrimage site for all Buddhists. Next, you will admire the Royal Botanical Garden of Peradeniya and its rare species, one of the most beautiful in the world. The orchid collection is a must-see. Take a walk along the shimmering waters of the lake. In the evening, let yourself be enchanted by a Kandyan dance show, the traditional dance of Kandy's cultural heritage.

    A steam train will take you this morning to Nanu Oya. You will travel through landscapes of incredible beauty. You will reach Nuwara Eliya, surrounded by tea plantations on the nearby hills. Enjoy the tuk-tuk ride in this green ocean. Take the opportunity to try your hand at picking tea leaves. On the way, you will make a detour to the tea factory, where you will be introduced to tea making. While the tea is still infusing within you, the Ramboda Falls will enchant you.

    This morning, head towards Udawalawe National Park, a true natural treasure renowned for its diverse wildlife. You will then admire the Buduruwagala site, with its Buddhas carved into the stone, including the largest one in Sri Lanka.
