JaipurAfter breakfast, departure for the visit of the Amber Fort. Ascent to the ramparts on elephant back. Visit of the Palace of Mirrors with its rooms set with mirrors and the former harem, a true labyrinth. Then descent to Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. From Ranthambore to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri(275 kms / 5 hrs) In the morning, drive to Agra. On the way, stop in the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri (40 km from Agra). The former capital of the Mughals was founded by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Akbar was a lover of architecture and, in this palace, you have proof of his love for architecture. From Agra to Khajuraho via Orchha(180 km / 4h30) (By train) In the morning, transfer to Agra station to take the train to Orcha. Meet at the station by our driver and transfer to the hotel. From Khajuraho to Varanasi(Domestic Flight) In the morning, visit of the temples, jewels of Hindu sacred art and certainly among the most beautiful sculptures of the Indian subcontinent. Transfer to Khajurâho airport to take the flight to Benares. Welcome at the airport by our driver and transfer to the hotel. You will attend the spiritual Arti ceremony on the ghats of the Ganges. From Vârânasî to Delhi(Domestic flight then international return flight) Early morning wake-up to go to the Ganges River. Boat ride on the Ganges. Return to the hotel. After breakfast, visit Sarnath, a sacred Buddhist site. In the afternoon, transfer to Varanasi airport to take the flight to Delhi. Welcome at the airport and transfer to a restaurant for the farewell dinner. Then transfer to the airport and flight to France on a scheduled flight. Overnight on board.
