  Delhi

  Flight on a scheduled flight. Traditional welcome with garland presentation and transfer to the hotel.

• day 2

  From Delhi to Mandawa

  (267 kms / 5h45) After breakfast, departure for a visit of New Delhi and Old Delhi. Visit of the Qutb Minar, the presidential palace, and the India Gate. In the afternoon, you take the road towards Mandawa, a region renowned for its havelis, houses painted with mural frescoes. Arrival in Mandawa. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 3

  From Mandawa to Jaipur

  (130 kms / 2h30) Visit of the Havelis, which are the former merchants' houses. Their painted facades depict scenes of daily life and major events. In the afternoon, departure for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 4

  Jaipur

  After breakfast, departure for the visit of the Amber Fort. Ascent to the ramparts on elephant back. Visit of the Palace of Mirrors with its rooms set with mirrors and the former harem, a true labyrinth. Then descent to Jaipur, capital of Rajasthan. Afternoon, visit of the Royal Palace, the Maharajah's Palace, the Observatory, the famous “Hawa Mahal” or Palace of Winds, a façade behind which women could see without being seen. Then the craftsmanship of Jaipur will hold many surprises for you, from stenciled cotton to precious stones. Overnight at the hotel.

  From Jaipur to Ranthambhore

  (170 kms / 3h30) After breakfast, departure to the city of Ranthambhore for a jungle safari, where the Ranthambhore tiger can be found, very well known after the Bengal tiger in India. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

• day 6

  Visit to the Ranthambore reserve

  Getting up early in the morning for the park visit, the best time to observe the animals. The largest park in Rajasthan is home to a multitude of wild animals, with its lakes inhabited by crocodiles, its birds, sambars, monkeys, and of course, its tigers. Return to the hotel. In the afternoon, a second safari in the jungle. Overnight at the hotel.

  From Ranthambore to Agra via Fatehpur Sikri

  (275 kms / 5 hrs) In the morning, drive to Agra. On the way, stop in the ghost town of Fatehpur Sikri (40 km from Agra). The former capital of the Mughals was founded by Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. Akbar was a lover of architecture and, in this palace, you have proof of his love for architecture. Check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Red Fort of Agra and the monument of love "Taj Mahal". Overnight at the hotel.

  From Agra to Khajuraho via Orchha

  (180 km / 4h30) (By train) In the morning, transfer to Agra station to take the train to Orcha. Meet at the station by our driver and transfer to the hotel. Then, walking tour of Orcha Palace. In the afternoon, drive to Khajurâho, known for the erotic sculptures of its temples. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 9

  From Khajuraho to Varanasi

  (Domestic Flight) In the morning, visit of the temples, jewels of Hindu sacred art and certainly among the most beautiful sculptures of the Indian subcontinent. Transfer to Khajurâho airport to take the flight to Benares. Welcome at the airport by our driver and transfer to the hotel. You will attend the spiritual Arti ceremony on the ghats of the Ganges. Overnight at the hotel.

• day 10

  From Vârânasî to Delhi

  (Domestic flight then international return flight) Early morning wake-up to go to the Ganges River. Boat ride on the Ganges. Return to the hotel. After breakfast, visit Sarnath, a sacred Buddhist site. In the afternoon, transfer to Varanasi airport to take the flight to Delhi. Welcome at the airport and transfer to a restaurant for the farewell dinner. Then transfer to the airport and flight to France on a scheduled flight. Overnight on board.
