Then you will travel to Sukhothai, considered the country’s first capital, to stroll among its elegant ruins, which still preserve the art and architecture that gave rise to Thai cultural identity. The trip continues north to Chiang Mai, recognized for its deep cultural and spiritual heritage. There you will visit iconic temples such as Wat Phra That Doi Suthep and enjoy an unforgettable experience interacting with elephants in a sanctuary dedicated to their care. Finally, the journey culminates on the paradisiacal beaches of Krabi, famous for their spectacular limestone formations, crystal-clear waters, and white-sand beaches: the perfect setting to relax and enjoy dreamlike landscapes. Trip Description

This tour of Thailand brings together some of the country’s most iconic cultural and historical experiences: • Visit to the famous Maeklong Train Market, where the stalls fold back as the train passes in a unique scene. • Tour of the traditional Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, one of Thailand’s most representative markets. • Exploration of the Ayutthaya Historical Park, former capital of the Kingdom of Siam and a World Heritage Site. • Walk through the Sukhothai Historical Park, cradle of Thai civilization and one of the country’s most important archaeological sites. • Visit to the iconic monkey temple in Lopburi (Phra Prang Sam Yod), famous for its unique population of macaques. • Ascent to the emblematic Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, known as the temple of the 301 steps and one of the most sacred in Chiang Mai. • Unforgettable experience at an elephant sanctuary, with responsible interaction with the Asian elephant in its natural environment.

    Our guide will be waiting for you at the hotel reception at the agreed time to begin the day’s excursion. We will start the day exploring the fascinating Train Market, where, in addition to discovering a wide variety of local products, we will experience the exciting sight of the stalls being pulled back and set up again as the train passes. Next, we will head to the iconic Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. We will take a panoramic tour in a traditional long-tail boat, navigating its canals and observing the lively trading between boats, where all kinds of products are offered. This experience will allow us to immerse ourselves in authentic Thai culture. At the end of the visit, we will continue the route to Ayutthaya, where we will spend the night.     At the agreed time, we will depart from the hotel to begin the route to the ruins of Ayutthaya, former capital of the Kingdom of Siam, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991 and located at the confluence of the Lopburi, Chao Phraya and Pa Sak rivers. During the visit, we will tour some of its most emblematic temples, such as Wat Mahathat, famous for the iconic Buddha head intertwined in the roots of a tree, and Wat Yai Chai Mongkol, with its imposing stupa. Next, we will head to Lopburi to visit Phra Prang Sam Yod, a Buddhist sanctuary that originally was a 13th-century Hindu temple, popularly known as the “Monkey Temple” due to the colony of monkeys that inhabits its surroundings.     At the agreed time, our guide will be waiting for you to head to the Sukhothai Historical Park, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the visit, we will enjoy a pleasant bicycle tour around the site (the park also has electric carts, available at an additional cost of 500 THB). We will visit some of its most representative temples, such as Wat Maha That, with its impressive almost intact standing Buddha; Wat Sra Sri, located in the center of a pond; Wat Sri Savaya, of Khmer origin; and Wat Trapang Ngoen, known as the Silver Pond Temple. After exploring Sukhothai, we will continue our journey to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, we will visit the emblematic Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, popularly known as the “temple of the 301 steps”. Located in the middle of the mountain and surrounded by vegetation, this temple is one of the most venerated in Thailand and offers magnificent panoramic views of the city.     At the agreed time, our team will be waiting for you at the hotel to begin the road journey, of approximately 90 minutes, until reaching the sanctuary. Once there, our guide will give us a brief introduction to the life of these majestic “giants” of the jungle, which can consume more than 200 kg of food a day and drink more than 100 liters of water. We will dress in traditional Karen clothing, which will allow the elephants to recognize us, and we will enjoy a close and respectful experience: we will be able to feed them, touch them, interact with them, take photographs, and accompany them during their daily bath. After this unforgettable experience, we will return to the hotel in Chiang Mai.
