  • day 1

    Welcome to Togo!

    Arrival in Togo will be at Lomé airport, generally at the end of the day. You will be transferred to the guesthouse where you can relax, have dinner, and spend the night. Paris-Lomé flight Transfer to the hotel Dinner and overnight stay

  • day 2

    Discovery of the city and local activities of Kpalimé

    You will leave for the city of Kpalimé, in the Plateaux region, which is located about 2h from Lomé. Upon arrival in Kpalimé, you will go to the market to buy local products. You will then meet the artists and craftsmen of the city; you will discover in particular how the potter prepares his clay. Upon returning to your hotel, you will watch the preparation of the meal that you will share.     Departure for the villages of Kloto.

    You will then set off on a tour through the mountains, traveling from village to village in the Kloto prefecture. The village artists will introduce you, through various workshops, to plant-based painting, batik, or djembe drumming. You will enjoy meetings and exchanges with the local people to better understand Togolese customs and traditions, as well as their daily activities. Overnight in the village in a bivouac.     Hiking in the lush green mountains.

    You will go into the forest to discover the local fauna and flora: medicinal plants, fruit trees, butterfly and bird habitats... This botanical walk will lead to a beautiful waterfall where you can have a picnic and swim. You will then enjoy the afternoon by climbing up to Mount Kloto to admire the panoramic view of Ghana, before returning to the village.     Bat Valley

    This fifth day will be an opportunity to change location and discover a new village. You will then enjoy a lunch in town, followed by the discovery of the incredible and striking bat valley, a major site of Togolese wildlife. You will spend the night at the hotel.     Discovery of agricultural work

    Tourists will be able to go to the fields with accompanying farmers. It will be an opportunity to learn about agricultural work, to participate in working the land, to observe the processes of transformation and the preservation of agricultural raw materials. They will be able to discover, among other things, the production of local alcohol, the extraction of red oil, taste pineapples... At the end of the afternoon, they will be able to cook during a cooking workshop and have a 100% local dinner.     A day at the monastery

    On this day, travelers will be able to enjoy some free time in the morning before setting off to discover a monastery. On the agenda: lunch, discovery of the organic farming practiced and the products (coffee, jam, cinnamon, natural essences, etc.).     Heading towards Atakpamé

    On this eighth day, the travelers will go to the Ayomé waterfall to enjoy the setting and a swim. They will then head to the city of Atakpamé, nestled between seven hills, for lunch and a visit from the top to the heart of the city.     Voodoo cult and Éwé people

    You will leave the Plateaux region to discover the Maritime region, located in the south of the country. First stop: Notsé, the cradle of the Éwé culture. This city is home to the archaeological sites of the palaces of the kings of Dakpodzi and Agbogbo. After the meal, you will have the chance to spend the afternoon in Tsévié to discover Togolese culture in all its forms at a cultural center.     Excursion on Lake Togo

    You will have the chance to discover by canoe the biodiversity and fishing activities of Lake Togo. You will set out in search of plants, crustaceans, fish, and birds. You will also have the opportunity to visit the surrounding villages and watch the sunset over the lake. And of course, you will have time to swim.     Return by the coast

    Continuation of the discovery of the coast with a short detour to Aného to explore the river mouth and the seafront, then return to Togoville and Agbodrafo to discover these historic towns. You can also, if you wish, stop by the Grand Marché of Lomé to stock up on souvenirs. Sharing a final local meal in a good restaurant in the capital and a last meeting with an artist or craftsman from the city, before heading to the airport.
