• day 1

  Arrival in Havana

  Arrival in Havana. Welcome by our representative. We arrange the taxi for your transfer to your accommodation. We offer accommodation in a colonial-style homestay in the old center of Havana. Breakfast included.

• day 2

  Havana, wonderful city

  Free day in Havana. You are well located to visit the Old Town on foot or take a 1950s American car taxi for a city tour. At 5:00 p.m., meet with our representative to give you explanations about the tour. We recommend downloading the http://maps.me app with the maps of Cuba. It works as a perfect GPS, without the need for Internet access on site.

• day 3

  Road to Viñales

  

  You walk to a hotel not too far from your hostel. There, a shared transfer comes to pick you up to go to Viñales. It is a service for tourists with a guide, in air-conditioned and comfortable buses. The journey takes about 4 hours. You are dropped off in the center of Viñales, from where you go directly to your accommodation. Here, you stay in a room in a local's home with breakfast included. You stay here for 2 nights.

• day 4

  Viñales, region of tobacco and ecotourism.

  There are plenty of options here and the owner will help you choose them. Many people go for walks in the valley to visit the farmers. You can also do the walk on horseback, as the farmers do. The region is full of caves and several can be visited. Cayo Jutía beach is 2 hours from Viñales, to the north, and excursions there are easily done in a day. The center of Viñales is very lively, with lots of small restaurants and bars offering music.

• day 5

  Road to Trinidad

  The same collective service picks you up in the city center. It takes you to Trinidad (8 hours). It drops you off at your casa, a colonial-style house 5 minutes' walk from the lively pedestrian center.

• day 6

  Trinidad, colonial city, mountain or beach.

  Trinidad is truly a wonderful colonial town, with its pedestrianized center full of colonial buildings, squares, and alleys. There are museums, bars, and restaurants. The wealth of Trinidad comes from sugar cane, and its origin in the Valley of the Ingenios can be visited very easily. For the brave, there are excursions to Topes de Collantes, the mountain behind Trinidad, with hikes that end in waterfalls where you can swim. Or, quite simply, you can take the shared bus to go to the beach in the south, the real Caribbean Sea. And don't forget to enjoy the nightlife in Trinidad.

• day 7

  Back to Havana

  The same collective service picks you up not far from your accommodation and drops you off in Havana (5 hours). You can easily find your accommodation again in the Old Town.

• day 8

  Last day in Cuba

  You have the morning free in Havana. Depending on your flight, we guarantee the transfer to the airport by private taxi.
