Whichever option you choose, you will enjoy breathtaking views and perfect opportunities to take photos under the dazzling desert light. ➤ Stop 3: Matmata – Discovering the troglodyte houses On the way back to Djerba, stop at Matmata, an iconic village in southern Tunisia. There you will discover the famous troglodyte houses, dug into the hillsides by the Berbers to protect themselves from the extreme heat.
