• day 1

  Arrival in Cairo

  

  The representative from Memphis Tours will welcome you at Cairo International Airport. Then, transfer to the hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. Overnight in Cairo.

• day 2

  Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara and Memphis

  

  After breakfast, your Memphis Tours representative will meet you at the reception of your hotel in Cairo and accompany you in a private, air-conditioned vehicle to the Giza plateau, where you will discover the marvelous pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the enigmatic Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, the place of mummification, which faces it. After your lunch, you will head to Saqqara to visit the funerary complex and the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the first pyramid ever built. A stop in Memphis, capital of the Old Kingdom, will allow you to discover its famous necropolis as well as the statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch

  Old Cairo - Egyptian Museum

  

  After breakfast at the hotel, your Memphis Tours representative will accompany you for a visit to the Old Cairo district and will show you the Hanging Church where, according to legend, the Holy Family took refuge during their exile from Palestine. Next, discover the Abu Serga Church, built on the spot where the Holy Family is said to have rested. Visit to the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, which features the most important collection of antiquities from the Pharaonic period, such as the Treasure of Tutankhamun or the treasures of Tanis. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. Return to the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch

• day 4

  Luxor

  

  In the morning, our representative will welcome you at Cairo airport. Flight to Luxor. Upon arrival at Luxor airport, you will discover, on the east bank of Luxor, the fabulous Karnak temple complex, the largest religious complex ever built, dedicated to the Theban triad with the god Amun-Ra at its head. Its ancient name, "Ipet-isut", means "the most sacred place". The temple complex was built over two thousand years ago by the pharaohs, generation after generation. Inside the complex, the impressive hypostyle hall is a majestic and mysterious forest of 137 giant columns. You will then visit the imposing Luxor temple, the temple of Amun. Lunch in a local restaurant. Return to the hotel. Meals included: Breakfast, lunch.

• day 5

  West bank of Luxor

  

  After your breakfast, you will visit, on the west bank, the ancient necropolis of Thebes. You will discover the Valley of the Kings, where 62 magnificent royal tombs were uncovered, including that of Tutankhamun by Howard Carter in 1922. In the heart of the Theban mountains, these tombs were dug deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures intended for the pharaohs' afterlife. You will visit three tombs. You will then visit the temple of the queen-pharaoh Hatshepsut, at Deir el-Bahari, built by the architects of the New Kingdom for the queen in the 15th century BC. You will also make a stop in front of the monumental statues of Amenhotep III, the Colossi of Memnon. During the visits, lunch will be served in a local restaurant. • day 6

  Hurghada

  

  After that, you will take the road to Hurghada, in a private and air-conditioned vehicle, for a journey of about 5 hours. Our representative will accompany you to your hotel. Meals included: Breakfast

• day 7

  From the 7^th day to the 9^th day: Hurghada - Red Sea

  

  Enjoy free days to relax on the turquoise water beaches or to discover the many water activities in the region and the excursions offered by Memphis Tours. Optional: diving in the Red Sea and discovering the magnificent corals and multicolored fish. Several other activities to choose from: windsurfing, sailing, fishing, snorkeling… Meals included: breakfast.

  Return flight

  

  In the morning, transfer to Hurghada International Airport for departure.

  Free Day in Cairo

  

  Last opportunity to relax or explore on your own. Your guide can recommend places to visit. Overnight stay in Cairo.

  Departure

  

  Start your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel, and then seamlessly transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight home, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable conclusion to your journey.
