• day 1

  Day 01: Luang Prabang – Arrival

  ♦ Arrival at the airport, welcome and transfer to the hotel. ♦ Visit of Wat Xiengthong. ♦ Visit of the Royal Palace Museum. ♦ Climb the 329 steps. ♦ Discovery of the famous night market. ♦ Overnight in Luang Prabang.

• day 2

  Day 02: Luang Prabang – Kamu Lodge

  ♦ Boarding a traditional boat from the Kamu Lodge pier at 08:30 AM. ♦ Cruise ride while enjoying refreshments on the boat. ♦ Arrival at Kamu Lodge in the afternoon. ♦ Lunch in the middle of the rice fields. ♦ Rest time. ♦ Dinner will be served according to Kamu tribe standards. ♦ Return to your tent.

• day 3

  Day 03: Kamu Lodge – Experience

  ♦ Breakfast. ♦ 4-hour hike in the surrounding forest to the waterfall (hiking level: medium / difficult). ♦ Picnic lunch at the waterfall. ♦ Discovery of the village along the Mekong River. ♦ Rest time. ♦ Return to your tent.

• day 4

  Day 04: Kamu Lodge – Luang Prabang

  ♦ Walk in the lodge or in the surrounding villages. ♦ Boat ride to return to Luang Prabang after lunch. ♦ Arrival in Luang Prabang around 4pm, transfer to your hotel. ♦ Rest time. ♦ Night in Luang Prabang.

• day 5

  Day 05: Luang Prabang – Hike through the forest – Waterfall

  ♦ Walk along the Nam Khan river before starting a one and a half hour trek through the lush jungle. ♦ Exploration of a traditional Kamu village. ♦ Lunch in the village or at the foot of the waterfalls, your choice. ♦ One and a half hour trek to reach the Tad Sae waterfall. Note: the waterfall is dry from February to July. ♦ Boat ride to the vehicle that will take you back to Luang Prabang around 2pm. ♦ About three hours of hiking.

• day 6

  Day 06: Luang Prabang – Departure

  ♦ Rest time before taking the departure flight.
