Day 1 : Arrival in Bali

You land at Denpasar Airport and are greeted by your chauffeur who will be at your side during your stay. He will take you to Ubud, the artistic and vibrant region of the island. Take advantage of this first day to recover from your trip, by the pool of your hotel: the holidays begin!




Day 2 : Ubud and the monkeys

You leave this morning for Sacred Monkey Forest. Located in the centre of Ubud, this monkey temple nestled in the heart of a tropical forest is a waking dream for young and old alike. Then head to the Taman Nusa, a family park that immerses you in Balinese history and traditions in an entertaining way.




Day 3 : Ubud by road-trip

Today your driver leaves his vehicle behind and instead you drive in a retro and convertible Volkswagen for a road-trip on the small Balinese roads. Feeling of extreme freedom in the middle of rice fields, waterfalls, typical villages... up to the impressive volcano Batur. Return to the hotel for the night.




Day 4 : Ubud walking

At dawn, you join your local guide and set off on foot for a day in the Balinese nature, in places still unknown to the general public. Between rice fields, jungle, temples and meetings with the locals... the day is eventful and full of surprises! At the end of the day, relax by the water.




Day 5 : From Ubud to Lovina

You take the road to the north of the island in the morning, passing the Butterfly Park with its colourful insects and butterflies. Then you drive through the fantastic terraced rice fields of Jatiluwih before visiting the Ulun Danu temple before arriving at the small seaside resort of Lovina.




Day 6 : From Lovina to Amed

You embark early in the morning with a local fisherman to go dolphin watching: a timeless moment and children in heaven! You then reach Amed, a small coastal village inhabited by Balinese fishermen. Soak up the gentle atmosphere of the village before returning to your hotel.




Day 7 : Amed and its marine fauna

Head out to sea again this morning, aboard a small fisherman's pirogue, for a wonderful trip along the coast. Once back at the beach, explore the seabed with your mask and snorkel. The children are amazed by the orange, blue, green and red fish... swimming among the corals.




Day 8 : From Amed to Sidemen

You leave Amed to reach Sidemen, an authentic village surrounded by rice fields. On the way you pass by Abang and Mount Surya before visiting the old royal palace of Tirtagganga, known for its extraordinary water garden. Once in Sidemen you can enjoy your stay in your hotel, surrounded by lush nature.




Day 9 : Sidemen and Pasir Putih

Take advantage of the enchanting setting of the rice fields to stroll around Sidemen, watched over by the imposing Mount Agung. Your driver will then take you to Pasir Putih, a heavenly place with a white sandy beach and turquoise water. Afternoon of dreamy relaxation, a mint in the water in hand, before returning to the verdant Sidemen.




Day 10 : From Sidemen to Sanur

After breakfast, you take the road to Goa Lawah, the bat cave, before setting off to meet the inhabitants and saunters of Kusumba, a small Balinese fishing village. A final stop at the Klungkung courthouse and you finally arrive in Sanur to spend the night.




Day 11 : Sanur, Balinese relaxation

Today you can enjoy the day at your own pace in Sanur. Walking or cycling, Balinese massage, souvenir shops, or simply relaxing at the beach, it's up to you! You never get tired of this wonderful island that has amazed you so much for more than 10 days.




Day 12 : Last day on the island of the gods



It is with a twinge of heart that you take the direction of Denpasar and its airport for your return flight. Your driver with whom you have just spent this incredible stay will drop you off and you will bid him a warm farewell. See you soon on the roads of Asia with Shanti Travel.
