Discover the Iranian plateau

Arrival in Tehran, the Iranian capital, located at the foot of Mount Alborz. Welcome by the representative of SITO travel agency. Transfer to the hotel.

Overnight at the hotel.

Visit of the capital: the National Museum of Iran, the Golestan Palace and the Crown Jewels Museum.

Transfer to Mehrabad airport to catch the domestic flight Tehran-Shiraz. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Shiraz.

After breakfast, visit the two magnificent Achaemenid sites around Shiraz: Persepolis and Naqsh-e Rostam.

Back to Shiraz, visit the tomb of Hafez, the Vakil bazaar, and the Saray-e Moshir.

Dinner in a restaurant. Transfer to the hotel where you spend the night.

In the morning, after breakfast and before leaving for Yazd, visit the Nasir Mosque in Shiraz.

On the way, visit of Pasargadae archaeological site.

Half way to Yazd, visit the city of Abarkuh.

Overnight in a traditional house converted into a hotel in Yazd.

Breakfast. Full day tour of the city, one of the most interesting in Iran.

Sightseeing in Yazd: The Towers of Silence, the Fire Temple, the Water Museum, the ancient Fahadan quarter, the Wind Towers, the Friday Mosque.

Dinner at a restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, departure for Esfahan through two desert towns: Meybod and Naein.

Visit a caravanserai and an ice house in Meybod.

On the other hand, in Naein, famous for its hand-woven carpets, visit a splendid mosque with an octagonal minaret, a beautiful prayer niche "Mihrab", a qanat and the ethnological museum.

At the end of the day, arrival in Esfahan, one of the most beautiful cities in Iran. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast and then the day is spent walking around the city and visiting the handicraft shops.

Visits of the day: Naqsh-e Jahan Square, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Imam Mosque, Ali Qapu Palace, Chehel Sotun Palace.

Dinner in the restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.

Another day in Esfahan. Visit of the Jolfa district, the Vank cathedral.

At the end of the visits, we launch ourselves into the crowd. In Isfahan, when one visit ends, the other begins and the traveller unconsciously prepares to listen to the stories of the city as Shahrzad tells them from the Arabian Nights.

The visit of the bridges over the Zayandeh-Rud river: the 33 arches bridge (Sio Se Pol) and the Khaju bridge (Pol-e-Khaju).

Free visit. Dinner at a restaurant and overnight at the hotel.

Departure to Kashan.

On the way, we stop in Natanz to admire its Friday mosque, "Masjed Jameh" and the mausoleum of Sheikh Abd al-Samad.

In Kashan we will visit the Fin Garden, one of the most famous Persian gardens.

Dinner in a restaurant and overnight in a traditional house.

Before leaving the city of Kashan, visit one of its traditional houses called "bioclimatic". 

We will visit the Hammam of Sultan Amir Ahmad with a beautiful roof and the Agha Bozorg school-mosque, a Koranic school.

Transfer to Tehran airport, dinner and overnight at IBIS hotel.

The airport is a ten minute walk across the pedestrian bridge, and there are also shuttle buses that run past the hotel every twenty minutes.
