Last but not least, the ecological reserve of Cabo Polonio, a small hamlet with white houses located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, a real little paradise!

Day 1 : Welcome to Argentina - City Tour Buenos Aires

Welcoming and private transfer from Buenos Aires International Airport (EZE) to your hotel. Transfer with an English-speaking guide.

Visit Buenos Aires (half day, walking tour).

The variety of Buenos Aires satisfies the most demanding visitor.

First you visit the 9 de Julio Avenue dominated by the Obelisk, a symbol of the capital. You will pass the Colon Theatre, one of the jewels of the Argentine architecture. Then you arrive to the famous Plaza de Mayo, surrounding by the Casa Rosada, the Cabildo and the Cathedral.

You continue through the neighborhood of San Telmo, one of the oldest in the capital: many antique dealers, a covered market and antique cafes ...

You end your visit with the picturesque and famous neighborhood of La Boca, with its tipical and colored houses. Envoy your time at El Caminito, the spot for painters and tango dancers.

Day 2 : Buenos Aires - Free day

Free day in Buenos Aires, some suggestions

Get to know the Recoleta neighbourhood, with its many colonial houses are property of rich Argentinean families.

The luxury mall "Pacifico" is a must-see for its French architecture, with its superb roofs and luxury shops.

Then you can visit the Recoleta cemetery, where you can find the grave of many celebrities, politicians and writers. The most famous is the grave of Evita Peron.

Day 3 : Buenos Aires - Tigre - Buenos Aires

This morning, you visit Tigre, a small town of the beginning of the 19th century, 32km from the capital. Every weekend, the porteños (inhabitants of Buenos Aires) like to go there to relax and spend a few days with their families.

You visit the market with its colorful stalls. At the port, you can board a boat that will take you through the canals and inhabited islands of the delta. You sail on the calm waters of the Parana Delta in an environment like no other.

Navigation through the Tigre's Delta, plus the port tax.

An English speaking guide will accompany you during the tour.

Day 4 : Buenos Aires - Rio de la Plata crossing - Colonia del Sacramento

Transfer from your hotel to the Port (Puerto Madero) in a private vehicle.

In the early morning, cross the la Plata River in a ferry to disembark in the charming town of Colonia de Sacramento.

At the port, take your rental bikes and ride through the historical centre of this fascinating town which was declared World Heritage site in 1995. Discover the famous « Calle de los Suspiros » (whispers' street), visit the Church of San Sacramento, San Pedro Bastion, and the lighthouse from which you can admire the whole city. From the port, you can also reach the costanera (coastline path).

A English-speaking guide will accompany you for a 2h30 guided tour. Bikes will be available until the end of the day

Day 5 : Colonia del Sacramento - Montevideo

Located 30 minutes from the center of the capital, you can visit the Bouza winery, famous for its exceptional museum of vintage cars. You will have the opportunity to taste the different wines of the property but also to enjoy a gourmet lunch This is one of the most prestigious wineries in Uruguay, awarded with more than 75 international prizes and medals.

You will drive to Montevideo. The capital of Uruguay is a port city with a great cultural wealth. Ideal for lovers of colonial architecture, it has many museums, theaters and churches for the more curious. Stroll through the Old City or enjoy the beautiful beaches to relax.

Day 6 : Montevideo - Punta del Este

Suggested itinerary:

Departure to Piriapolis, one of the most beautiful seaside resorts of Uruguay. This city is known for its famous "Rambla Costanera" which reminds us of the Mediterranean seaside promenades.

You continue towards Punta Del Este to arrive at the unmissable "Casa Pueblo", a house sculpted by the artist Carlos Páez Vilaro's own hands (entrance fees not included).

You will then discover the most emblematic places of Punta Del Este: its marina, its historic district, the church of Nuestra Dama de Candelaria and finally its lighthouse. You will also be able to observe the "Punta de Salinas" where the separation line between the Rio de la Plata and the Atlantic Ocean is located. You will continue until the monument "Los Dedos", intriguing sculpture. You will cross the very original undulating bridge "Leonel Vieira" to reach the Barra de Maldonado.

Day 7 : Punta del Este - Cabo Polonio

This morning, you are heading towards Cabo Polonio

Cabo Polonio is an ecological reserve located on the Atlantic coast. This peninsula is protected because of its priority ecosystem and is one of the largest reserves of sea lions. The access to this small corner of paradise is possible thanks to a all-terrain vehicle specially designed to be able to circulate in the middle of the dunes and forests.

In addition to its natural wealth, you can appreciate its lighthouse and its typical houses. A charming environment in the heart of nature!

Day 8 : Cabo Polonio - Montevideo - Buenos Aires

Suggested itinerary:

Back to the capital Montevideo. You drive along the Atlantic Ocean all the way. Drop off your vehicle at the port of Montevideo.

Ferryboat from Montevideo to Buenos Aires. About 3 hours navigating de la Plata River.

Welcoming at the Port and transfer to the hotel in a private vehicle.

Day 9 : San Antonio de Areco - Estancia's activities

You reach the estancia El Ombu de Areco, located in the village of San Antonio de Areco. This small peaceful town is the heart of the gaucho culture in the Pampa.

Once you arrive at the estancia, a new world streches before your eyes. In this immense property, the land is largely dedicated to cattle farming. Among the different activities offered, you can choose a walk in the shade of the hundred-year-old trees of the property, ride one of the many horses of the stable to accompany the gauchos, or enjoy a ride in a horse-drawn carriage.
