If you are a lover of peace and quiet and want to see unique landscapes, this is the trip you need: Viñales. The departure will be early in the morning, heading west, this town is famous for its traditional tobacco and its characteristic mountains. The province of Pinar del Río (land where the best tobacco in the world is grown) produces 80% of the country's cigars. In many tobacco plantations today you can still appreciate the techniques that were used decades ago, you will visit one of them. If there is a place you want to visit that you couldn't do the day before, you can go there in the morning. Well, in the afternoon, it will head to the city of bridges. It was founded more than 3 centuries ago between the mouths of the rivers: Yumurí, San Juán and Canimar. It is the capital of the province of the same name. Places of interest to visit are: Narvaez Street, Sauto Theatre, White Hall, Triolet Pharmacy, Monserrate Hermitage, Bellamar Caves and Canimar River. On arrival at your accommodation you can complete the registration process and settle in. Later, you can enjoy some of the emblematic sites already mentioned, accompanied by a local guide. Very early in the morning the first activity of the day will begin, a guided tour of the Canimar River. This is one of the most beautiful places in the city, where you can learn more about the history of the area, enjoy a boat trip and enjoy the beauty of a landscape where the colour green predominates. At the end, you will visit the Bellamar Caves, a group of caves with more than 23 kilometres of galleries. Playa Girón is located in the region known as Ciénaga de Zapata, in the extreme south of the province of Matanzas. This marshy ecosystem is the largest wetland in the insular Caribbean, with an area of 300,000 hectares. This beach is a fishing village and is recognised as one of the island's diving paradises. Early in the morning, the first site to visit will be the Playa Girón Municipal Museum, which is a memorial dedicated to the battle fought by the Cuban people in April 1961. In 1978 it was named a national monument. At the end of this activity, you can continue on to the Cueva de los Peces. On arrival you will have a welcome cocktail included. This beautiful place is one of the biggest attractions in the whole province. Being an impressive natural swimming pool with crystal clear waters and over 70 metres deep, which communicates with the sea through an underground tunnel. It was founded in 1514 and was headed by Diego Velázquez de Cuéllar. From the beginning, the town was rapidly evolving, thanks to the entrepreneurial attitude of its inhabitants, which led it to become one of the most prosperous on the island. In 1988, UNESCO included the historic centre of Trinidad along the Valle de los Ingenios in the World Heritage List. The aforementioned valley was a region that distinguished itself in sugar production, especially between the last decades of the 17th century and the first decade of the 18th. Because of this relevance, the mills of San Isidro and Manaca Iznaga will be visited, in addition to the Mirador del Valle. Sites that are an indissoluble part of the Trinitarian history. Back in the city, the rest of the day will be free.
