Day 1 : Arrival in Guadeloupe (Le Gosier)

Relax at last, you've arrived!
After getting off the plane you will pick up your rental car directly at the airport, and go to your 4-star hotel, the Auberge de la Vieille Tour in Le Gosier to take possession of your room.
Take advantage of this arrival to relax by the swimming pool or go for a walk by the sea and smell the iodized air of the Grande Terre.
You will spend the first 4 nights of your stay in this accommodation with breakfast and dinner.




Day 2 : Shellfish and crustaceans in Grande Terre

This first day will be under the sign of the sun, white sand and turquoise water!
You will set off by car to discover the beauties of Grande Terre.
You will discover the beaches of Petit Havre, La Caravelle and Bois Jolan in Sainte-Anne. Then you will go for a walk towards Saint-François where you will find the Raisins Clairs beach. Continuing in the direction of the Pointe de Saint-François, this rocky coast, enjoy the famous beaches of La Douche, Les Salines and of course: the very famous Pointe des Châteaux.
For lunch, there is a choice of Creole restaurants all along the Pointe. 




Day 3 : Beaches and cliffs in Port Louis and Anse Bertrand

A beautiful day to continue surveying Grande Terre!
This time, the course is set for Port Louis and Anse Bertrand.
For Port Louis, you will pass through the sumptuous and colourful Morne-A-L'eau cemetery, one of the prettiest on the island. You will point towards Port Louis, to discover the beach of Le Souffleur. Surf enthusiasts: you will love it! On the road, pick up some delicious accras in the lolos you come across, or a smoked chicken to take away! A delight.
After Port Louis, head for Anse Bertrand. The beach of La Chapelle or Anse Laborde will seduce you. Continue until you reach the end of the island, the Pointe de la Grande Vigie, and take the time to contemplate the beauty of the cliffs and the calm that reigns there.




Day 4 : Kayaking with turtles and enchanting gardens in Basse Terre

Go and meet the turtles at Malendure, at Bouillante, during a kayak trip to the Pigeon islet.
Very often the turtles have their breakfast in the morning. It's nice to see them feasting. By Kayak, you will go to the Cousteau Reserve, a real life-size aquarium.
For lunch, we will advise you, La Tuna and the Rocher de Malendure by the sea, or L'Etoile, a restaurant perched in the middle of nature.
You will continue your journey to the Botanical Garden of Deshaies, a place of great beauty, which has many tropical species, trees, flowers and other wonders of nature. If you have time, on your way back: have a drink at the Karacoli, Grande Anse beach, to admire the sunset!




Day 5 : Departure for Marie-Galante

You will leave your hotel in the morning and go to the Pointe-à-Pitre ferry terminal, where you will drop off your rental car. After an hour's sailing, you will pick up a vehicle at the port of Grand Bourg Marie-Galante. You will spend a night in a bungalow located in Capesterre overlooking the blue and green bay.
Take advantage of this first day to discover by car the numerous beaches of Marie-Galante, one of the most authentic islands of Guadeloupe. 
For lunch and dinner, take advantage of the island's good addresses: the Dantana, the Playa, the Pêcheur...




Day 6 : Heritage and hiking in Marie-Galante

Second day in Marie-Galante. After breakfast, discover an island that has stopped in time. You will discover the Murat castle, an old plantation.
For lunch, treat yourself and taste a dish of Ouassous (Le Roi des Sources), beautiful prawns in sauce that can be eaten with dombrés! Traditional dish!
In the afternoon, you will go for a hike starting from the magnificent Anse Canot (Canoe Cove).
Kite-Surf enthusiasts: Capesterre beach will become your "favourite spot"!




Day 7 : Departure for the Saints!

You will leave your accommodation early in the morning and this time you will head in the direction of Saint-Louis where you will return your car. After an hour of inter-island navigation, you will arrive in Terre-de-Haut.
On site you will have a choice of electric bicycles, carts, scooters or bicycles.
In the morning, book the local specialities which sell very quickly: fish pancakes and fish puff pastry.
Pack a mask, snorkel and flippers and set off to discover the translucent waters of Pain de Sucre.
At the end of the day, you will take the ferry back to Guadeloupe. Upon arrival in Trois Rivières, you can pick up your rental car and drive to your beautiful and charming Trois-Rivières hotel, the Jardin Malanga, where you will spend the next two nights on a breakfast basis.




Day 8 : Discovering the beauties of Trois Rivières and the Old Fort

In the morning, set off to discover the Trois Rivières coastal walk.
A magnificent hike of about 2 hours, which allows you to admire the sublime landscapes of the Basse Terre and to observe the Saintes archipelago from a different perspective.
For lunch, you can enjoy a meal in the village of Trois Rivières and then head towards Vieux Fort. This is an unmissable fort in the Basse Terre, which will quickly plunge you into a wonderful world where butterflies are kings. The fort is told, many anecdotes will be given to you about the construction of this fort.
At the end of the day, before returning to your hotel, make a stop at the Lighthouse bar in Vieux Fort, an ideal moment to sip a drink while watching the sunset.

It will be time to leave your accommodation and head to the airport to drop off your rental car.
