Pick up upon arrival at JKIA in the morning and drive via the shoulder of Mt. Kenya crossing the equator to arrive at your camp in time for lunch. After lunch relax before taking late afternoon game drive. Overnight at Ikweta Camp or similar  (LD)




Day 2 : Meru National Park

The day is spent game viewing in the park with morning and afternoon game drive. Meru National Park being one of Kenya’s best kept secrets is quiet and you will often feel as if you have the park all to yourself as there is no congestion common in other parks. Little visited it is utterly un-spoilt and quiet. Hence few places are comparable to the remote and rugged atmosphere found here. Animals found in Meru national park expected to be seen by visitors include the African bush elephant, Masai lion, African leopard, Tanzanian cheetah, eastern black rhinoceros, southern white rhinoceros, Grevy’s zebra, hippos, Bohor reedbucks, hartebeests, pythons, puff adders, cobras, buffalos and more than 427 species of birds. Again Meru National Park was one of the two areas in which conservationists George Adamson and Joy Adamson raised Elsa the Lioness made famous in the bestseller book and award winning movie Born Free. Elsa the Lioness is buried in this park and part of Joy's ashes were scattered on her gravesite. Overnight at Ikweta Safari Camp or similar (BLD)




Day 3 : Meru-Samburu

After early breakfast depart hotel at 7.00am and drive north via the shoulder of Mt Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve to reach your hotel in time for lunch. Enroute we cross the equator. After lunch, we have afternoon game drive. Samburu Game Reserve is a semi-arid area with open savanna grassland along the Uaso Nyiro River, which supports plenty of wildlife. Overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge or similar (BLD)




Day 4 : Samburu Game Reserve - Buffalo Springs Game Reserves

Full day is spent game viewing in the Samburu game park and the neighboring Buffalo Springs Reserve. Elephants abound; you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, reticulated giraffe, buffalo, gerenuk, grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, oryx and crocodile. Overnight at Samburu Simba Lodge or similar (BLD)




Day 5 : Samburu- Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, we depart at 8.00 am for Lake Nakuru to reach your lodge in time for lunch.  On the way you will visit the Nyahururu Thompson falls. Thereafter we have afternoon tour of Lake Nakuru, which is a seasonal home for the Flamingo (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds including a variety of terrestrial birds numbering about 450 species in total. It is also a sanctuary for the black and white rhinos as well as the Rothschild giraffe and harbours lions, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippo Pythons and many other animals. Day 6 : Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara

After early breakfast, we depart for Masai Mara National Reserve. The reserve is popular for its big game and is a northern extension of the Serengeti National Park eco system in Tanzania. We have afternoon game drive. Overnight at Enkorok Mara Camp  or similar (BLD)




Day 7 : Masai Mara National Park

Day spent game viewing with morning and afternoon game drive to experience the Mara magic! Kenya’s premier reserve is famed for its astounding concentration of wildlife and harbours lions, leopards, cheetah, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, Masai giraffes, hippos, black rhinos, spotted hyenas many species of antelopes. The climax is the annual great wildebeest migration in July, August, September and October of each year. Visit Mara River to see crocodiles and hippos. In addition, there are more than 470 species in the park with almost 60 species being raptors. The birds include vultures, marabou storks, secretary birds, hornbills, crowned cranes, ostriches, long-crested eagles, African pygmy-falcons and the lilac-breasted roller. Day 8 : Masai Mara National Park

Day spend with morning and afternoon gamedrive or opt for a full day game drive armed with your picnic lunch. On this day you can opt for a balloon safari (at extra cost) or a cultural vist to a  masai village. Overnight at Enkorok Camp or similar (BLD)




Day 9 : Lake Naivasha - Hells Gate National Park

After breakfast, we depart at 0800am for Lake Naivasha to reach your hotel in time for lunch. After lunch we tour Hells Gate National Park. “Hell's Gate National Park is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. In addition to the bio-diversity that includes raptors, visitors can enjoy walking, mountain biking, horse riding, rock climbing and a natural spa.” Animals found here include the African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle and baboons as well as the klipspringer antelope and Chandler’s mountain reedbuck. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzard and swifts. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp pr similar (BLD)




Day 10 : Amboseli National Park

After early breakfast, we depart for Amboseli National Park to reach your hotel in time for lunch. After lunch, we have afternoon game drive starting 4pm with Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background. Overnight at  Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar (BLD)




Day 11 : Amboseli National Park

Day spent with morning and afternoon viewing game in the park. Amboseli (392 sq. km) is supported by swamp vegetation it harbours elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, zebras, ostriches and Masai giraffes in the background of the magnificent snow caped Mt. Kilimanjaro. The waters from melted snow find their way down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains in form of swamps. Overnight at Amboseli Sopa Lodge or similar (BLD)

After breakfast we depart to Nairobi and drop you off at JKIA airport for your International homebound flight (B) END OF SAFARI
