Arrival in Tashkent by TK flight 07:10. Welcome by our representative: Transfer and installation at the hotel “Arien Plaza” or “Shodlik Palace” Breakfast. The morning of rest. Visit the Museum of Applied Arts; Hazret-Imam ensemble comprising the Barak Khan medersa (16th century), the Tellia Cheikh (Friday) mosque open for worship, and the mausoleum of Kaffal Chachi (16th century); Madrasa Aboul Kassim (19th century), crafts center; madrassah Koukeldach; market. Lunch during the visit. At the end of the day, show at the Opera and Ballet Navoi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.




Day 2 : 2. TASHKENT - KOKAND - FERGANA

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Fergana (340 km) via the Kamtchik pass which offers an exceptional panorama on Chatkal. Along the way, stop to visit Kokand, visit the palace of Khoudoyar Khan (19th century) and its facade with turrets, the Djami mosque with its 19th century minaret century, and the Mausoleum of Modari Khan. Lunch in Kokand. Continue to Fergana. Transfer and installation at the Club 777 3*** hotel or "Asia Fergana" Fergana City Tour: Al-Fergani Park; Regional Theatre, former residence of Tsarist General Skobelev. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.




Day 3 : 3. FERGANA - MARGILAN - RICHTAN - TASHKENT

Breakfast at the hotel. Road to Margilan (11 km). Visit the “Yodgorlik” silk factory, where you will follow the process of making silk fabrics. This city is famous for its silks and fabrics. Road to Richtan (50 km), and visit of the workshop of the famous school of ceramics; Lunch at Richtan. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.




Day 4 : 4. TASHKENT - NUKUS - TOUPRAK KALA-AYAZ KALA

Breakfast. In the morning, transfer to the airport for the flight to Nukus by HY 0071 at 07.00. Arrival in Nukus, transfer and installation at the hotel “Jipek Joli”. Visit the Stavisky Museum of Fine Arts in Nukus. Lunch in Nukus. Crossing the Khorezm region to the fortresses. Departure for the Toprak Kala site (110 km), a ruined fortress dating from the 1st century. av. AD, became the regional capital under the Kushans in the 2nd c. Continuation of the journey to Ayaz Kala (40 km), one of the most impressive fortresses dating from the 3rd century. Installation in a yurt camp. Dinner and overnight in a yurt.




Day 5 : 5. AYAZ KALA - KHIVA

Breakfast at the camp. Crossing the Amoudarya to Khiva. Arrival, installation, and lunch at the hotel "Malika Khiva" or similar. First visits to Khiva: the Ata darvaza Gate, madrassah of Moukhammad Amin Khan and Kalta Minor (the unfinished minaret) (18th century); Kounia-Ark (the old fortress) (17th – 19th century); medersa of Moukhammad Rakhim Khan (19th century); the mausoleum of Said Allaoutdin (14th century); one of the oldest monuments of Khiva (XIVs), Djouma mosque (of Friday) with its 212 carved wooden columns (XVIIIth century). Dinner in a local restaurant Night at the hotel.

KHIVA Breakfast. Continuation of visits to Khiva: the mausoleum of Pakhlavan-Makhmoud (1810 - 1825), which occupies the site of his furrier's workshop; Tach Khaouli (the stone palace), the second residence of the khans of Khiva (19th c.); Islam-Khodja ensemble (early 20th century); woodcarvers' workshops; Lunch during the city tour. Free afternoon for a personal discovery of the city and perfect your collection of photos of the city. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Breakfast in a local restaurant. In the afternoon: Liabi-Khaouz ensemble which consists of the Nodir-Divan-Beghi medersa (1622), the Koukeldach medersa and the Nodir-Divan-Beghi khanaka (1620), one of the most popular places from Bukhara, Magok-Attori mosque (12th – 16th century); 16th-century merchant cupolas Toki-Sarafon (money changers cupola); Dinner in the Modarikhan medersa. BUKHARA Breakfast. Continuation of visits to Bukhara: Ark citadel (17th – 20th c.); Bolo-Khaouz mosque (1712); the pearl of the Orient - the mausoleum of Ismail Samani (9th – 10th c.); the Tchachma-Aioub mausoleum (14th – 17th century), the source of the prophet Job; market. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon visit Sitora-i Mokhi-Khossa, one of the palace-country residences of the last Emirs of Bukhara; Tchor Minor (“four minarets”), four towers that decorated the entrance to the Niyaz Koul Madrasah (19th century). Dinner at a local restaurant “Liabi Khaouz”.

Breakfast. Continuation of visits to Termez: the Kampyr Tepe fortress, from the Hellenistic period, an opportunity to relate the campaign of Alexander the Great in Bactria and Sogdiana. Then later we visit the Buddhist monasteries of Fayaz Tepe, the mausoleum of the Muslim saint Hakim-i Termizi and the remains of the Zourmala tower-the third Buddhist archaeological site.

Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 12 : 12. TERMEZ-BAYSOUN

Breakfast. At the junction between Iran and Touran, the ancient Tarmita was a center for the spread of Hellenism to India and Buddhism to China, before being conquered by the Arabs and then by the Turks. The first discovery of Termez: the necropolis of Sultan Sa'adat, the fortress Kyrk Kyz-the medieval fort of the Forty Virgins, the knanaka Kokil dara (16th century), and 16 km from Termez the Friendship bridge. Departure for Baysoun (180 km). Installation in an Uzbek family. The first discovery of the village. Lunch. Visit the studio of an Uzbek painter Tura Shamursaev. Stroll through the bazaar of Baysoun, meeting with the inhabitants of the village.

Day 13 : 13. BAYSOUN- SHAKHRISABZ-SAMARKAND

Breakfast. Departure for Chakhrissabz, the birthplace of Tamerlane by the road of the steppe (170 km). He had a huge palace built there as well as the mausoleum of his favorite son, Djakhonguir. Visit the city: the Ak-Sarai palace (XIVth century), the Kok-Goumbaz mosque (XVth century), the Goumbazi-Seydan ensemble (XIVth – XVth century), the mausoleum of Djakhangir (XIVth century). Installation at the hotel "Chakhrisabz Yuldouzi" ***. Lunch during visits. Departure for Samarkand by the mountain road (80 km). Lunch. Arrival and installation at the hotel "Dilchoda"** or similar.

Visit of Samarkand:

First discovery of Samarkand the great: Visit of Registan Square, the heart of Samarkand, with the madrasahs of Ouloug Beg (15th century), Cher-Dor (madrassah with lions) (17th century) and Tilla-Kari (decorated with gold) (17th century). the Bibi-Khanim Mosque (14th century – beginning of the 15th century), the largest mosque in Central Asia, built by order of Tamerlane after the conquest of India; the Chakhi-Zinda necropolis (the living king), the pearl of Samarkand, a set of mausoleums dating from the 11th to the 15th centuries, a real museum of medieval architecture, market. Lunch in a local restaurant. Afternoon: Afrosiab, one of the largest sites in the world; the Oulugbeg observatory, built in the 15th century by Oulugbeg, one of the greatest astronomers of his time; the Gour-Emir mausoleum (15th century), housing the tombs of Tamerlane and his descendants. Visit the silk carpet factory in Samarkand. Tasting of Uzbek wines at the Khavrenko winery.

Dinner of Uzbek specialties in a traditional Uzbek house.




Day 15 : 15. SAMARKAND-TASHKENT

Breakfast. Early morning departure for Tashkent (330 km). A short stop in the gorge which bears the name of “La Porte de Tamerlane”; Arrival in Tashkent and lunch in a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel “Uzbekistan****” Afternoon scenic tour of Tashkent: Alisher Navoi Opera Theater Square, Independence Square, Tamerlane Park with a visit to Tashkent metro.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
