Arrival in Kathmandu, according to your flight schedule. Welcome by your local guide at the airport exit with a sign and transfer to your hotel. Briefing and presentation of the course of your stay. In case of arrival in the morning, rest day or possibility to visit the tourist district of Thamel, for those who wish, your hotel is located in the heart of the tourist city.

Day 2 : Departure for Pattale (2,840 m)

Transfer to the bus station then local jeep to Pattale. Drive through rice fields and other crops. Enjoy the local life along the road and along the Sunkoshi River, beautiful scenery. Short stop for lunch, then continue to Pattale.

Day 3 : Pattale (2 840 m) - Sisakhola ( 2 100 m)

Rise at dawn and set off for the Phokte lookout at 3,200 m to admire the sunrise over the Himalayan massifs. A perfect place to have a nice selfie and some souvenir photos then back to the lodge for a good breakfast then departure by a descent for your first day of trek to Kerung, SHERPA village, visit of the monastery and lunch stop then you will continue your walk passing by Chimding village TAMANG then Sisa Khola.

Day 4 : Sisakhola (2 100 m) - Dimil (2 900 m)

Second day of walking. You will start your day with an easy walk to Solnasa village, the MAGAR ethnic group, then gradually ascend to the Lumsa village, the SHERPA ethnic group village, stop for lunch and then continue walking to the small traditional village of Dimil.

Day 5 : Dimil (2 900 m) - Pike base camp (3 650 m)

Day 6 : Base Camp (3,640 m) - Pikey peak (4,070 m) - Lamjura ( 3,500 m )

With a beautiful day ahead of you, your goal for the day will be to reach the 4,000 m of Pike Peak. A gradual ascent for about 1h30 to the summit, a major pilgrimage site in summer for the local population, famous for its natural incense (sunpati). You will enjoy the panoramic view of the Himalayan range, in front of you stand the Annapurna, Manaslu, Everest (8,848 m), Lhoste (8,501 m), Makalu (8,483 m), Nupste (7,864 m), Ama Dablam (6,856 m) and Thamserku (6,608 m). Take advantage of a few photos to engrave this memorable memory, before starting a long descent towards the village of Jasmane Banjyang where we stop for lunch and then continue the walk to Lamjura.

Day 7 : Lamjura (3 530 m) - Junbesi (2 700 m) - Thupten Chöling Gompa (2 950 m)

On this day, we take up the historical feeling of Everest. We start with a short climb up to the Lamjura pass 3530m then a long descent to the charming Sherpa village of Junbesi where we stop for lunch and then an easy climb up to the impressive Thupten Chöling Gompa monastery where we will stay for 2 nights. This place is very well known for its famous founding master Trulshik Rinpoche who was reincarnated 32 times and is today home to more than 300 "red cap" monks (Nyingma current, teaching of the oldest traditions of Tibetan Buddhism).
We visit the main monastery and attend a service. Depending on availability overnight stay at the monastery itself or in a guest house of the monastery.

Day 8 : Thupten Chöling Gompa (2 920 m)

This day is devoted to visiting the monastery's surroundings. It is possible to go to the village of Phungmuche, which houses another large monastery, to the traditional Sherpa village of Pankarma or to climb up to Shengeephuk. For those who wish, it is possible to stay at the monastery all day long and attend activities of the monks' daily life.

Day 9 : Thupten Chöling Gompa (2 920 m) - Khoriya (2 350 m)

Today we leave for the village of Khoriya where we spend the night with a Sherpa family. Easy descent to Beni following the river to reach Phaplu and then the village of Salleri, capital of Solukhumbu. Continuation of the walk towards Nayabazar and Dorphu bazaar then a long descent to the Solukhola river to cross the suspension bridge before going up gradually to the village of Khoriya mainly inhabited by the Sherpa ethnic group, arrival at the family's home and installation.

Day 10 : Khoriya (2 350 m) - Chulemu (2 200 m)

After breakfast, in the morning visit the monastery and the primary school of Khoriya, (closed on Saturdays and public holidays). In the afternoon departure to Chulemu village.

Day 11 : Chulemu (2,200 m) - Kathmandu

Early wake up, departure from Chulemu by jeep to Kathmandu. Descent towards Okhaldhunga by a serpentine road which dominates the valley then the road goes along the Sunkoshi river for a hundred kilometres with a superb view all along the way. Lunch break on the way then continuation to Kathmandu. Installation.

Day 12 : Departure



Depending on the schedule, return flight to France. Your guide will take you to Kathmandu Trivuwan International Airport for your departure. We hope that you will leave with unforgettable memories and have made your stay enjoyable. We wish you a safe return flight!
