Day 1 : Arrival in Albi.

Discover the magnificent city of Albi, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your stroll will begin on the old streets of Albi to discover the half-timbered houses, the courtyards of private mansions, the cloister of St. Salvy abbey, then continue with the visit of the St. Cecile,cathedral, where you will marvel at the richness of its decor.
In the early afternoon, visit the Toulouse Lautrec Museum in the heart of the Palais de la Berbie, former episcopal palace. Completely renovated, the site presents the double interest of the painter's collections, the former bishops' apartments and beautiful views over the Tarn river.

Day 2 : Hiking and villages

In the morning, hike in the forest with beautiful views and panorama from Puycelsi. (About 12km - medium difficulty - other proposals are possible)
In the afternoon, discover the emblematic bastides (traditional villages) of the Albigensian Country by visiting Puycelsi, Castelnau de Montmirail and Castelnau de Lévis.
Night in a 4* hotel in the city center of Albi.




Day 3 : Cordes sur Ciel and Canoeing

Visit the village of Cordes sur ciel, a medieval bastide with many houses from the Middle Ages (if you don't want to go up on foot, a small train goes back and forth about every quarter of an hour).
Departure along the valley and the gorges of the Aveyron to Najac, a fortified village surmounted by its royal castle. From the village, you will enjoy a canoe trip (about 2 hours) with stairs, slide or slalom (depending on the season).

Day 4 : Wine and Chateau

In the morning, leave for the Gaillac region to discover the vineyards.  Visit a splendid wine estate and its French-style park, the vineyards and wine tasting. 
In the afternoon, discover the Mauriac castle, a historical monument built in the 13th century during a visit rich in History, Heritage and Painting. Visit its magnificent gardens overlooking the vineyards.
