day 1
From Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park
Leave Arusha from your hotel at 9:00 am and drive for 2 hours to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions, its birds of many species including flamingos, as well as its baboons and elephants. Dinner and overnight at the medium-sized lodge.
day 2
From Lake Manyara to the Serengeti
Leave your lodge at 8:30 am after breakfast and head towards the Serengeti, passing through Maasai villages and the Olduvai Gorge site. Game drive safari en route. The Serengeti is famous for the great wildebeest migration crossing the rivers, while predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, and hyenas eat the remains. Dinner and overnight in budget camping, mid-range accommodation Serengeti Tented Lodge, 3-4 star lodges or 5-star lodges.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Early in the morning, visit the Serengeti to observe leopard hunting. Leopards prefer to hunt in the dark, as their eyes are like torches. After lunch, drive to the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. For dinner and overnight: budget camping, mid-range accommodation, Ngorongoro tents, lodge, 3-4 stars or 5 stars...
day 4
Ngorongoro Crater in Arusha
Start at 6 a.m. and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater with your lunch box for your 8-hour crater tour before returning to Arusha. Lunch will be at the picnic area inside the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater holds the record for containing more animals per square km than any other park in Africa. It is the only place where you can spot the Big 5 in the same area: ELEPHANT, RHINOCEROS, BUFFALO, LION, and LEOPARD.
